Studio 31 & 43

About 10 years ago I was watching a show about old sitcoms and they said that Three's Company was filmed in Studio 31 and 43,that I wrote down on a note book I just rediscovered. I cant find anything on the net about Three's Company and studio 43.

TC was filmed at Metromedia Square and ABC studios for the first season, CBS Television City seasons 2-6, and again Metromedia Square seasons 7-8. (The Metromedia connection is odd, because Metromedia, later to become Fox, had been the DuMont Network in the 1950's, whose managing director was Ted Bergmann, the exec. producer of TC).

The numbers are probably CBS studio numbers -- for example, Studio 33's where The Price Is Right's filmed, now called the Bob Barker Studio). From wikipedia:

The building initially held four soundstages (Studios 31, 33, 41 and 43), but a renovation in the late 1980s added four new soundstages plus additional office space and technical facilities such as editing rooms and storage.

I remember something about them saying FOX.

Maybe... but I'm guessing it's probably CBS, because the Metromedia (Fox) sound stages seem to have been numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. Again from Wikipedia:

Originally, there were four sound stages ranging in size from around 7,600 square feet (710 m²) to just over 13,000 square feet (Later, the Metromedia Corporation added two more as well as large office buildings). Nassour's modern Art Deco-styled projection room and modern offices were located in the buildings fronting Sunset.
Dressing rooms were constructed adjacent to stages 1 and 2. An old converted two story apartment building located down the street on Van Ness housed producers and writers. The big stage (4) had removable panels that hid a water tank. It was used to film the jungle river scenes in "Africa Screams." The lot was very small (about four acres) so an underground facility for storage was necessary. A large freight elevator was installed for access.

I guess the purists should say "taped" rather than "filmed"....
