...according to tvshowsondvd.com. The steeet date is August 26.

I still can't believe how quickly these sets are being pumped out after waiting so long between the first two volumes.

I'm guessing this would complete the MPI releases of the Color Honeymooners.

What makes you think that?

Here's hoping that this set actually has the eight short Color Honeymooners sketches.

Doesn't MPI has the rights to the 70s Specials too (except for "Woman's Lib")?

After volume 3, there are 12 of the hour color episodes left. I hope as much as anyone that we could get those short sketches from 1968 as well as The Incredible World of Ed Norton, but I'm not betting the farm. Also, could we lose any more shows because of music licensing? That is why I figured there will not be a fifth collection.

I would be overjoyed to be wrong.

I have no idea, where'd you hear that from?

Well Volume 3 is supposed to contain 12 episodes and clocks in at 600 minutes, the link you posted claims Volume 4 will be 575 minutes...why the 25-minute difference if they both contain the same amount of same-length episodes?

Bill S.: "I have no idea, where'd you hear that from?"

I remember on the old honeymooners.net message board right after the 1954 episode "Love Letter" was found, you (or what is someone else?) called MPI and asked if (or do they) have the rights to those episodes. MPI didn't respond with a "yes" or a "no."

I have these episodes (except for "Women's Lib") due to a tape trade, but I was curious just to know if MPI had the rights to them.

It must've been somebody else because I've never spoken with anybody from MPI about those episodes.

I believe it was Chris Rose from the old board who was in touch with Andy Kemp at MPI. There was a period of a lot of excitement when we thought MPI was ready to release a ton of things that have never seen the light of day. Chris was feeding Kemp a big list of shows with whatever info we had on them....he was supposed to be "looking into it". There was also word that MPI has hired a "consultant", who was rumored to be Bob Columbe or Peter Crescenti (I can't recall which one). Anyway, Chris is still around, he just doesn't post much.
