Jessica Lange is FRANCES (Appreciating the work and life of la lange)
I'm wondering if anyone here has seen Frances. some might say it isn't a great movie, but i find it highly underrated.
Jessica Lange gives one of my top 5 leading female film performances of all-time in this, and i'm a get some hate for saying this, but, la lange should have won the god damn oscar for this one. don't get me wrong, i love me some meryl streep, and her performance as Sophie in SOPHIE'S CHOICE is also in my top 5, right behind la lange actually, but Jessica Lange was a pure powerhouse in this and I can never see this performance too many times. her best performance EVER!!!! even though she still does movies, i want to see a mainstream comeback from this goddess. let it happen, and watch her win her 3rd oscar. La Lange forever!!!!!!!!! |
