RALPH & POTSIE SHARING THOSE HAPPY DAYS AT EMA’S 2008 HOME ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS

Don Most & Anson Williams to Receive Special Honor

ENCINO, CALIFORNIA (April 14, 2008) … Best known for their stint as television’s favorite pair in Happy Days, Don Most and Anson Williams will reunite at EMA’s Home Media Expo 2008 to receive EMA’s Legendary Television Duo Award during the Home Entertainment Awards ceremony. The presentation will be on June 24, in tandem with the Expo, which will be held during June 24-26, 2008 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV.

“The careers of Don Most and Anson Williams are the definition of success in this industry,” said Bo Andersen, EMA President. “Having more than four decades of experience, Most and Williams expertly manage any role in front or behind the camera. The Entertainment Merchants Association is pleased to reward this legendary television duo for the memories they’ve given the Happy Days audience as Ralph and Potsie, and their continued success in the entertainment industry.”

Early in his career, Don Most devoted himself to television work, recording 166 episodes of the hit show Happy Days (1974-1983) and then doing voiceover work for popular animated series Dungeons & Dragons (1983-1985) and Teen Wolf (1986-1989). His guest appearances in television include: Century City; Star Trek: Voyager; Yes, Dear; The Crow; Sabrina, The Teenage Witch; Diagnosis Murder; and Dark Skies. His feature film credits include Ron Howard’s ED TV (1999) and Jonathan Demme’s Crazy Mama (1975). Most’s directorial debut, The Last Best Sunday (1999), premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival and was the feature film winner at the Telluride IndieFest. Most’s latest directing project is Moola (2007), which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival and won the Outstanding Achievement In Directing Award. It is being distributed by Allumination Filmworks. Most can currently be seen in The Great Buck (2008), starring John Malkovich and Tom Hanks, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Anson Williams promptly moved on to directing after his Happy Days success. Williams has directed more than two hundred hours of television, including: Baywatch; Diagnosis Murder; SeaQuest DSV; The Pretender; Star Trek: Deep Space Nine; Star Trek: Voyager; Melrose Place; Beverly Hills 90210; 7th Heaven; Sabrina, The Teenage Witch; Charmed; Lizzie McGuire; and most recently the ABC hit drama Sons and Daughters. His producing credits include Ron Howards Skyward (1980), starring Bette Davis. Williams has also expanded beyond the entertainment industry. He owns StarMaker Products, a popular cosmetics line, which is currently available nationwide.

Wow, if you ask me, they should've appeared on Lovejoy with Don as the leader of a cop quartet and Anson as the leader of an Al Capone-style mob
