Which of the detectives would have been the best match for Wentworth in the dating department?

Yep they make a good match, but could you see her dating any of the other detectives, like Harris, Chano, Levitt, Dietrich or even Scanlon or Luger? Would any of those be good match for her?

I liked Wentworth and Wojo together -- however it would have been fun to see Wentworth and Dietrich on stake-out together -- LOL.

Linda Lavin was so brilliant as Wentworth she could have dated any of them and made it work. But Luger would have been a stretch, though.

They couldn't have paired her up with Chano - he's MINE!!!

Seriously, I think you're right - they were both very hyper and voliatle, whereas Wojo was much more laid back.

It would have been considered an interracial romance and the network probably wouldn't have gone for it. Just her being a woman was made into a very big deal at the time.

There was another woman cop LaCurrie or something like that that came on later, but I think she was married?

I don't think ABC would've considered Chano & Wentworth a big deal. (Red-haired Barrie Youngfellow was Gregory Sierra's love interest on the short-lived AES Hudson Street, which also aired on the alphabet network.) Harris - now that's another story.

Her name was Roslyn Licori, played by Mari Gorman, and yes, she did have a jealous husband. She appeared in 3 episodes in the fourth season: "Wojo's Problem", "Hostage" and "Evaluation".
