FOX's Kevin Reilly hints at a potential BTY renewal - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

THR: Among Fox's freshman shows, "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and "Back To You" are expected to come back next fall. Any others viewers shouldn't count out?

Reilly: They're really the lead candidates at this point. We've already started staffing on 'Sarah Connor.' Although it was an unusual season, it will end up finishing by far and away the strongest new drama of the season. Other shows have not gotten the traction. Just because competition is softer doesn't mean audience has to watch a show.

Wow, that's really great to hear. At this point, I'm sure Back to You will get renewed in some way. I definitely don't think it'll be gone for good (maybe ABC would like to pick up the show-LOL)

I hope so - this show really does have a lot of potential. It has a great cast - KG and PH only have about 10 Emmys between them. There's great writers and producers - given a chance (and a decent time slot), this show should be a winner.

The bad news: It didn't experience enough of an American Idol bump back in February to make it a lock for next season.
The good news: Fox is as enamored of the show as Kelsey Grammer's character is enamored of himself.
Odds of Survival: 7

I could care less what TV Guide has to say. They are usually wrong on a lot of TV-related things anyway. It can't be much longer before we get some sort of annoucement on the future of Back to You. I swear, I can't take it anymore. Why can't they just make a decision?
