Most shocking eliminations
What eliminations shocked you the most?
Season 7 Michael Johns. He should have at least made the top 3. David H. getting voted off instead of Kristy Lee. Asiah getting voted off instead of Kristy Lee. Alaina getting voted off instead of Kady. Chickeze going home before Kristy Lee. Season 6 Haley making the top 12 instead of Sabrina. AJ and Rudy both going home before Sanjaya. (And anyone else who went before him.) Sanjaya finally going home at 7th place. (He lasted longer than Michael Johns!  )Phil going home instead of LaKisha. Melinda not making it to the final 2. I didn't watch before season 6. |

Season 1
Tamyra Grey getting eliminated at 4th place, and Nikki getting 3rd. RIDICULOUS. and it was the first Idol shocker ever so it was probably the most effective. not that i saw it originally. but...yeah  Season 2 Clay losing to the much less popular Ruben. Season 3 the 3 "divas" being the bottom 3 on top 7 week, and Jennifer Hudson getting 7th. LaToya getting 4th, Fantasia being in the bottom 2 with her, Jasmine not even landing in the bottom 2 that week despite 2 atrocious performances. Season 4 Constantine being eliminated at 6th place while Scott Savol magically floats into the top 5. Season 5 Chris Daughtry's elimination at 4th place. probably the biggest shocker ever. Season 6 Melinda not making the finale. Season 7 Michael getting eliminated so early. unbelivable. |

Constantine's elimination in season 4 is the biggest shocker to date, for me. Although I dislike him strongly now and was never really a big fan, I did NOT expect him to leave that early. Biggest disapointment, though? Chris Daughtry, for sure. But sadly I saw that one coming.

Hud leaving John Stevens escaping the bottom 3 on top 10 and 9 nights Latoya getting 4th Season 4 Constantine getting 6th with SNOT SAVOL stays Scott doesnt leave on top 9 results night despite being in bottom 2 Season5 Chris Daughtry getting 4th Taylor managing to escape the bottom 3, I liked him though Season 6 Sanjaya managing to make top 7 LOL Melinda not making the finale Season7 Michael Johns getting voted off so early Alaina Whitaker being voted off in the top 20 |

Season 2: Everyone who got eliminated before Carmen Rasmusen (who couldn't sing to save her life, and to think, she was SIMON's wild card pick!) Season 3: Diana DeGarmo losing to Fantasia Season 4: Constantine Maroulis not making the Final 4 Season 5: Mandisa getting eliminated before Paris Bennett Season 6: Everyone who got eliminated before Sanjaya did (yes, this includes everyone in the Top 32 as well) Season 7: Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns, Ramiele Malubay, Amanda Overmyer, & Carly Smithson getting eliminated earlier than they should have |
