Does anyone else experience this problem when using a laptop and posting on this site - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

when you try and type a sentence it jumps back to the beginning or mid sentence. Damm that is so annoying.

My msn tv is not working right now and I have to use a laptop and it's the worst. laptop is strictly for surfing the web and reading, not posting.

No. I am posting from a laptop at this very moment. I spend more time on this than I do on a PC.

If you turn down the sensitivity of the tapping option (or turn it off altogether) it'll stop doing that.

Nope that has never happened to me, And I've used a laptop since I've been a memeber of this board.

I have the same problem but on my desktop. Also, most of the time I can't get the smiley's to work for me - I have to "manually" insert what I can in symbols. Also, anytime I hit this site, Microsoft wants to start installing software which sometimes freezes my whole machine and I have to completely reboot everything.

I actually have a lot of problems when I come to SO - should tell TJ just how good this site is that I have all those issues, but still come here and put up with them. ; S

It did that to me a LOT in the past and it drove me nuts. I hated it, but eventually it stopped on it's own. I guess because I got used to keeping my hand as FAR from that little touch pad as I could.
