No, I think they got it right on the show. They got the right actors for Rollo and Lamont.

Ok. If Rollo was Fred's son they could have had it as the hip cool son against the old fashioned Fred G. Sanford. Rollo was one cool dude!

No. I think it was fine just the way it was. but i do think Rollo should have had more parts in the show because he and Fred was so funny working together. Can you imagine Fred having a dope smoking son. LOL They would of never had something like that in the show.

I think they got it right. D. Wilson was a better actor than Rollo IMO.
As for Lamont's whining, I think the shows writers ran out of reactions to Freds outrageous comments and behavior. The whining or anger he repeated were the most natural responses. Chris
