Oh No This guy must think I'm an idiot.......

I wanted to buy a memory card for my cellphone, and I went to a MetroPCS store. The salesman there told me it would be $60.00! I rolled my eyes because at another MetroPCS store, the same memory card costs 29.99! The guy who told me to pay him 60.00 must have thought I was an idiot who didn't know any better. I must have had, an, "I'm a dumbass who will pay twice the amount for the same thing," look. I'm a lot smarter than people think. I happily went over to the other MetroPCS and paid 29.99 for the memory card. I'm a little appalled and sadden at the fact that people would pay 60.00 for the 29.99 card, not knowing it is not supposed to cost that much. I could have been ripped out of 30.00!(and one cent).

good point but were the two MeroPCS stores in the same county?

example: i went to Wal-Mart around Christmas to by my little sister a Miley Cyrus CD and their, it cost 20 bucks. Considering who she is and it being a 2-disc set, I bought it. That was in Tennessee. When went to see my family in Kentucky, we went to Wal-Mart and saw the SAME CD SET for 14 dollars. I was mad.
But, your right: BUYER BEWARE!!

From living on the KY/TN state line for many years, something I've learned well is that most anything you can find in both states tends to be cheaper in KY. (Metro areas somewhat excepted, though I find gas in Lexington for cheaper than just about anywhere)

It was in the same county. They were both in Miami-Dade. Which is why I don't get why he asked me for 60.00 for something thta costs 29.99.

Thats why it pays to look around for an average price, and its a good thing you did. I like to check online and stuff before buying something that i don't usually buy.
