Default Unsolved Mysteries meets Hollywood Squares

Who would your dream panel be? I'm going to go with some of our favorite UM quote-makers, Perman Gilbert, Bonnie Wilder, Lisa Penz, Liz Carmichael, Danny Wheeler, Bob Bean and of course Stack as the center square. Who else?

Default Tonight on UM TV

Hello and welcome to the Unsolved Mysteries edition of Hollywood Squares.
Let's meet our celebrities....

Now you see her, now you don't...it's Resurrection Mary
He'll steal your heart and your money...Con Juan Louis Carlucci
Burn, baby, burn...it's Omar the Arsonist
She just came back to get her cats...Linda Sohas
Passing out power shakes to everyone in the audience...it's Mrs. Gilbert (he's got Jonathan!) Ortiz
Direct from her 500th appearance on the Montel Williams Show..Sylvia Browne
Is there a doctor in the house? You bet! It's Dr. Michael Swango
Life just keeps getting better and better for Mr. Jule Caylor
And finally, in the center square...the Haunted Bunk Bed!

For the first time tonight we're adding a new feature...where one lucky viewer at home will get to play the game with us by phone. Hello, caller, are you there?

"Judy Himes is alive and living in Omaha."

This thread is going to kill me... You guys are too funny!

You could do a whole thread on just the dialogue from this:

Host: And with the correct answer from Omar's friend the arsonist, you win Player 2!
Omar's friend: Look at it, Omar! Look at it! I said I'd do it! I SAID I'D DO IT!!!"

Here we go!

You know, it's funny that Hollywood Squares is mentioned here. Or maybe appropriate, since I think of Unsolved Mysteries as the HS of true crime shows.

Both Unsolved Mysteries and Hollywood Squares have been revived after being canceled. Hollywood Squares had three revivals, the most successful of which lasted six years (1998-2004).

Also, both shows aired on NBC. But while HS was revived for first-run syndication, UM was revived for first-run cable. During its initial run, however, HS was in production for both syndication and NBC at the same time.

I cracked up laughing after remembering that guy

What about Judy " What would we have gained by it" Grozenger or Paul "I like to live in a clean house" Pollis or Mary "My Son was murdered" Kemp?

Unfortunately, the contestant that picked "Young Lay" wouldn't get very far, since when asked a question he'd keep repeating "Know what I'm sayin'" over and over again and totally confuse everything.
