the topic he will be talking about is his brush with death, and the little clip they showed had the pic of him holding freddie (dressed as the baby) in his arms, so i think he may be speaking on that.
if anyone is able to tape it i would love a copy....i don't get to watch with the kids here, i just happened to be looking for the kids show. |

I think it comes on ABC Family at 11pm. That might be a good time for folks to watch. Thanks for the info!

I hope ya'll got to see it. I did & it was really good. I had no way to tape it cuz Mike was using the tv with the vcr hooked to it to watch his ball game. In order to have made copies for folks I would've had to TIVO it & then tape on vhs tape off of the dvr (Dish Network TIVO type thingy) in order to have made copies for everyone.
Anyway Tony talked about being a Christian and about his hard times in Hollywood when Freddie died. He said he didn't normally do drugs but for nearly a yr got into cocaine drugs. The reason was he was tired of the bubblegum image folks gave him & was trying to be like Mick Jagger, trying to be cool. After Freddie died things got worse & he went downhill. He got saved & became a Christian after that & things got better. He said he never drank. I got the impression that Tony was so goofed up on drugs during his on drugs to try to be coll period that he never realized what was going on with Freddie. I think had he been of right mind he would've been able to help Freddie. I think Freddie was being like Tony & trying to be cool by getting with the in crowd & sadly the in crowd drug him down & didn't help him. I could tell that if Freddie were alive, he would've been doing tv with Tony. Oh yeah they showed a few pics of Freddie like the baby one & a CATM one & a b&w one I have seen a lot of places. This caused me to later have a dream where I was watching a tv channel that was playing the Tony Orlando and Dawn show. I was watching the credits to see if Freddie was on it. The it cut to Tony singing a gospel song with Sammy Davis Jr. Then it went back to the credits & I was still watching the credits to see if Freddie was on it. I woke up before it listed him in the credits... |

it does sound like a good show, you know i thought tony O said at one time he was at Freddie's bedside before or when he dide but there is no mention of it in Maria's book that i recall, does anyone else remember hearing or reading about that?
well anyway if he was so screwed up on drugs at the time maybe he wasn't there and thougt he was,,,,does that make sense. and if he was there than i'm the one whose mized up. lol |

You are so right. I think he was so goofed on drugs his recollections of what happened may not be accurate...
