Default New Girl Part 1

So I'm havin me a Season 1 & 2 marathon and I'm on the New Girl. In part one of the ep. Jo asks Blair what they do for men in Peekskill and they go to the Chugalug and try to see who a real man would go for and all. And then by the end of part two Jo is going on about her boyfriend Eddie, how they've been dating for three and a half weeks and are crazy about each other. Now I'd understand if she went to the bar cause Blair challenged her, which is kinda what happened but she did bring up the conversation of getting men. Did anyone else ever notice this and find it odd?

I never noticed that befrore and I just saw that epi maybe last month. Good ears.
it think its odd since she said she was crazy about him. Then, have the same voice say: 'what do you for men around here?' Maybe she thought Blair slept around and wanted to fit in?

Also she said when she first talked about Eddie, that she had only been seeing him for a few weeks and that her mom sent her to Eastland to get her away from Eddie......ok, how in the world did her mom first afford Eastland? We all seen how many times it was mentioned and shown that Jo and her family were struggling working class folks. Nothing was said about a scholarship right off the bat--that came in Jo's second season, IIRC.

I think she had the scholarship the entire time, it just never got mentioned till season 3 when she was losing it.

Yeah it did mention that Rose was always taking extra shifts, Charlie wouldnt have had anything to do with it though, he was still in prison

Charlie in the Graduation episode gave Rose a gift because he acknowledged that she busted her butt to send Jo to Eastland and that he wasn't much of a help.

That was a good catch, Meghan. I've seen this episode many times but never put two and two together.
