Two and a Half Men scribes Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn are thisclose to casting ex-Bundy matriarch Katey Sagal to headline their forthcoming revenge fantasy episode of CSI. Sagal would play hellacious sitcom diva Annabelle Bundt — the character not-so-loosely modeled after Lorre and Aronsohn's onetime boss, Cybill Shepherd.

I watched this last night, just because I heard that it was written by comedy writers. I think that there were obvious connections to Roseanne, with the font of Annabel's sitcom opening title matching Roseanne's and the husband, who was her driver from Iowa, just as Tom Arnold was from Iowa.
