I haven't seen this episode but it sounds funny - Mel offers free meals to the customers if their waitress doesn't smile, and Alice is in a horrible mood. Does anyone remember it? What was the episode named?

"Mona Lisa Alice". Alice is upset with her boyfriend, and it threatens Mel's gimmick of free meals if the waitresses don't smile. It was the 2nd episode of the 4th season, original airdate of Sep 30, 1979.

That is a funny episode, my sister made me some random tapes & that episode is on one of them. It would be great if they'd bring all these episodes out on dvd, wouldn't it?
