Default Back To Tracy Island (A Thunderbirdbirds/BTTF crossover)

Chapter 1- Off To The Future

Dr Emmett Brown's lab, Hill Valley, California, November 3rd 1985, 4:15pm

Dr Emmett L. 'Doc' Brown was working on his DeLorean Time Vehicle when his friend and sometimes assistant 17-year-old Marty McFly walked in.

"Hey, Doc," said Marty as he saw what Doc was doing. "Where are we going now?"

"Marty, we are going back to the future!" Doc said to Marty as he stopped what he was doing and looked up at him.

"Back to 2015?" asked Marty.

"No," replied Doc. "To the year 2010 and to Tracy Island which is in the South pacific!"

"Tracy Island," asked Marty as he remebered watching a 1960s puppet show about a family of rescuers called Thunderbirds when he was a child. "Why are we going there?"

"You know how back in 1980 I created the Institute of Future Technologies in Hollywood," Doc said in ways Marty might understand. "Well, I went ahead to 2009, Hill Valley and created another institue! We're going there because I might let the kids there teach you some of their slang!"

"Whoa, this is heavy!" Marty said as he heard what Doc said.

"Tell me about," Doc sighed. "No kids say that word anymore but I heard some famous people wanted to see me!"

"Who?" asked Marty.

"Some guy named Hiram K. Hackenbacker and an astronaut called Jeff Tracy," answered Doc. "The name Jeff gives him 'Brains' sounds like a nickname if you ask me."

About half an hour later, Doc and Marty laoded into the DeLorean. Doc set the desination time to April 23 2010. Marty heared a strange noise from the Flux Capacitor.

"Doc, what's that noise?" Marty asked looking rather worried.

"It's problably nothing," Doc answered. "Besides, you know how these DeLoreans act."

As soon as the speed hit 85 MPH, Marty yelled "Doc, that noise is getting louder."

By now, the speed came up to 86, then 87 and the second it hit 88, KABOOM!!!!! and the DeLorean sent both Doc and Marty to the year 2010!

UWM, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 23 2010, 12:30pm

Inside the UWM cafeteria, there was a crowd of students eating lunch and talking happily until a loud noise from outside was heard.

"Holy crap," said 18 year old Gordon Tracy as he looked out of the nearby window. "What the hell was that?"

Gordon's 20 year old brother Virgil looked over at Gordon, who was sitting next to him, and said "Whatever it was, Gordo, it scared the living poop out of me!"

"Okay, people, let's go and see what it is," said Dean Harold McDaniels as he looked outside the window and liked what he saw. "That looks a bit like a car from the 1980s. I remember because I had one like it."

Two students, John Fisher and Troy Tempest, followed the Dean as Gordon and Virgil were still eating with their friends Atlanta Shore and Tom Reynolds (who were in the same Oceanography class as Gordon) and Seymour Griffiths and Karen Wainwright (who were in the same Art class as Virgil) and a group of other students sat at their usual tables waiting for John, Troy and Dean McDaniels to return with the information they needed. Gordon was listening to Potsie's latest hit song 'Surfer Babe' on his personal stereo as Virgil admired his artwork. Tom looked at his watch and groaned.

"Where the hell are they," asked Tom reffering to John and Troy. "They left with the Dean a few seconds a-"

Suddenly, the doors to the cafeteria swung open and Troy, John, Dean McDaniels, Marty and Doc fall in. Troy kicked the door shut as Doc looked at the students and Marty got out a tray with some food on it and walked to Gordon and Virgil's table.

"You guys must be Virgil and Gordon Tracy," said Marty as he looked at the two Tracy brothers. "Doc Brown told me about you guys when he came back from this year."

"Thanks, Dude, I'm Virgil Tracy and this is my bubbleheaded bro Gordon," said Virgil as Marty sat between them both. "And what the hell was that all explosion about? Are you spies for the Hood?"

Gordon groaned as Virgil and Marty looked at him as if he had something stupid to say.

"To tell you the truth," Marty told Virgil. "I'm from the past, I come from the year 1985!"

"Did you guys get any info about me from any of your classes?" asked Marty.

"I heard about you in Gifted & Talented class," said Gordon at last. "You're that rock star Marty McFly from that Pinheads band."

"Did you say the Pinheads," asked Atlanta. "Their music is sooo 1980s but they inspired Potsie."

"Gordon, Virgil," said Karen as she looked past Marty. "It turns out Potsie did their first gig here in 1999."

"What the??????????????????????????????????" asked the enitre UWM student populiation.

"Hey, Virg," Seymour told Virgil as he looked past Marty. "Are Potsie's keyboard player Cass Carnaby and that rock chick singer Kelly Carnaby related?"

"Sure, Dude, whatever," Virgil said as he looked at his painting of the band Potsie. "They're brohter and sister and Cass is older by 3 years."

"Is it just me or did the name Potsie come from that sitcom Happy Days?" asked Marty.

"It's not you, Marty," Gordon said. "The name's from that show you mentioned and that show sucks."

"Yo, Marty," said Virgil leaning closer to Marty. "Can you keep a secret?"

"Yeah, Virgil!" said Marty.

"Me and Gordon are agents for a secret orginisation called International Rescue," whispered Virgil. "But only Tom, Troy, John, Atlanta, Karen and Seymour know that."

"Doc," said Marty as soon as Doc walked towards Gordon and Virgil's table. "What do you know about a guy called the Hood?"

"He's obviously Team America's Public Enemy #1!" said Doc as he showed Marty a 'Wanted' poster of the Hood. Everyone else in the cafeteria gasped, finished their lunch and ran out of the cafeteria.

Dean McDaniels came up to Doc and saw that the place was empty (except for Marty and Doc) and said "Oh for God's sake."

Chapter 2- I'm Mr Tracy's Oldest Son's Idol?

The Tracy villa, Tracy Island, the South pacific, April 23 2010, 5:30pm

Virgil and Gordon were watching Sick Sad America with their 14 year old brother Alan and their 24 year old brother Scott. The topic for the show that day had been 'When Time Travel Goes Wrong' while Ohana and Kyrano Belegrahnt were preparing dinner for the whole team.

Later, 22 year old John's portrait lit up. Fromer astronaut Jefferson 'Jeff' Tracy had been busy with some paper work while humming 'Back In Time' by Huey Lewis and the News but it was clear that it was playing in his head all week.

"Go ahead, John." Jeff blurted out.

"Dad, the mayor of Milwaukee just called and totally needs our help." said John.

"Okay, John," Jeff said as Sick Sad America was finished. "Tell him we're on our way."

"F.A.B." said John as he signed off.

While Jeff, Scott, Virgil, Gordon and Alan waited, John filled them in on the details. Scott was the first one to stand up from the couch. Not giving him a second to slow, Jeff said "Scott, we're setting out in Thunderbird 1. Virgil, Gordon and Alan'll follow us in Thunderbird 2."

"F.A.B." said Scott as both he and Jeff rushed to their portraits and went straight to Thunderbird 1 while Virgil Gordon and Alan ran to their portraits and went straight to Thunderbird 2. By now, the two Thunderbirds took off to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Arnold's Internet, Cafe, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 23 2010, 6:05pm

As he and Doc sat at Arnold's Internet Cafe, Marty had ordered got a bottle of Pepsi while Doc ordered a root beer while surfing the Internet and listening to "Back In Time" on the jukebox.

"Is that stuff safe to drink?" Marty asked Doc when he saw him get the beer.

"Oh yes. Actually, it's the strongest thing I can drink. You saw what happened in 1885." Doc said.

Then something strange happened. International Rescue arrived in the city and went to their rescue scene.

"How are you," said the owner of the Internet Cafe, Ernie O' Hara. "Enjoying the music?"

"Oh yeah." Marty said.

"Hey, check that out," one customer exclaimed. "International Rescue've come to save the city!"

"Come on, Doc, let's go and see." Marty said as he and Doc ran out of Arnold's.

"Great Scott, what's going on here?" Doc said as he reached for Jeff Tracy's left shoulder. Jeff and the boys immediately turned around to find Doc and Marty.

"Did one of you dudes call me," Scott said. "I remember seeing the Back to the Future trilogy when I was a kid and everytime I hear the words 'Great Scott', I think they're calling me."

Marty knew that Scott was talking about what Doc had just said but said nothing.

"Wait a sec, I've heard of you," Alan said as he looked at Marty. "You're that rock star Marty McFly, my bro Scott's one of your biggest fans!"

Marty, Gordon and Virgil all looked at each other and smiled; Marty knew he had to keep the identity and whereabouts of International Rescue a secret.

"I met you guys at college today," Marty said to Virgil and Gordon. "We sat at the same lunch table when the Dean spoke to Doc!"

"I forgot to tell you boys," Doc said. "The Marty McFly with me is the one from 1985."

Jeff remembered that every time he was in space, he was woken up by a Marty McFly and the Pinheads song. He finally let Doc and Marty in Thunderbird 1 with him and Scott. Then, they set off for Tracy Island.

I'm Mr Tracy's oldest son's idol and my band's big in the future, thought Marty in surprise. But how? Man, this is heavy.

The boys were talking in slang Marty had never heard before. By now, Doc was reading a book, Scott and Virgil were piloting, Gordon and Alan were singing Potsie's 'I'll Be Okay' in Thunderbird 2 while Marty and Scott sang 'Back In Time' in Thunderbird 1 on the way back to Tracy Island which was also International Rescue's base.

Chapter 3- Meeting Ground Control

Tracy Island, the South Pacific, April 24 2010, 7:10am

Breakfast progressed slowly, the only thing of interest was when Alan spilt milk on the floor. Jeff became increasingly worried. What if Marty had been scared by the words 'My oldest bro Scott's one of your biggest fans'?

"Has anyone seen Brains this morning?" Ohana asked keeping her voice calm as usual. The response was negative, Hiram K. 'Brains' Hackenbacker remaining unaccounted for.

"Maybe he's still sleeping?" 13 year old Tin Tin Belegrahnt suggested, pointing up the stairs. Marty nodded doubtfully.

"Well," Jeff breathed a sigh of relief. "At least we know he's safe. Brains can take care of himself which I know" He subconsciously rubbed his neck where the bruises from his recent ordeal stood out prominent and dark.

Hill Valley, California, Hill Valley Town Square, April 24 2010, 9:30am

Doc walked down the main street of the suburbs as Marty hoverboarded, both of them enjoying the feeling of the air against their faces. After Doc knew that Marty's actions plunged him into an emotional dilemma, he knew he would be feeling scared and confused, just as Marty was.

"Who goes? State your name and business!" a threatening voice from ahead of them shouted.

"Marty McFly, undercover International Rescue agent so stop acting macho." Marty told the young man with red hair in front of him. He was dressed in blue jeans and an open black leather jacket that revealed a T-shirt with the word 'Potsie' on it and red high top sneakers.

"You're right there, Marty," said the young man. "C'mon then, I'll show you to the den."

The den turned out to be an abandoned cellar. The entrance that opened on to the street was cleverly disguised to look like a disused coal trap and Doc was a bit nervous about going in.

"I know these streets like the back of my hand. This is the right one all right. C'mon, the others are waiting down there for you." the young agent, Hal McCoy, grinned and leapt into the trap with Marty while Doc was holding the wooden trapdoor open for him. Doc took a deep breath and plunged in after him.

After what seemed an eternity of sliding down a metal slope, the two men tumbled out into a bale of straw at the bottom. By now, Marty fought his way to the surface and looked around into Hal's friendly face. A boy of Marty or Gordon's age with scruffy brown hair and a deadpan expression stood behind him.

"This is Trent Dawson. I don't think you guys have met?" Hal asked. Marty smiled but Trent merely nodded once. Like Hal, Trent wore the same sort of jeans and high top sneakers but instead of a leather jacket like his friend, he wore an orange polo neck jumper.

An impatient sigh from the corner alerted Marty to another occupant of the cellar. A young woman dressed all in black leather with a black midriff showing T-shirt was fiddling with a small homemade radio transmitter. She gave another sigh of frustration and flicked her blonde hair out of her face tapping one of the earpieces on the headset she wore.

"Oh, that's Laura Anderson. You won't get much sense out of her at the moment. She's got a busy schedule." Hal told her.

"Tough living here, is it?" Doc asked not taking his eyes off Laura.

"No, she lives here by choice. I mean she's always busy. She's part of International Rescue's Ground Patrol."

Doc turned to face Hal.

"Ground Patrol? You mean THE Ground Patrol? International Rescue's Ground Patrol? But... but... that's really high ranking! That comes in just below racy Island," said Marty. "Whoa, this is heavy."

"Did you say 'Whoa, this is heavy,'" said Hal. "That is sooooo 1985. and do you dudes wanna know why Laura's all in black leather? Well, I'll tell ya. Me 'n' Trent call her Quicksilver. Quick-finger-silver-tongue is much too long so we just call her Quicksilver, occasionally Laura. Quick-finger's her handle 'cause she takes stuff from boxes our folks leave us every week, money, food, clothes, you name it and Silver-tongue 'cause she can talk her way out of it if she gets caught. She wears black leather so she don't get caught."

Doc, Marty and Hal all looked again at Laura who was now talking into her headset.

"That's true, John. The Hood might strike in 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." she said sounding a bit like Jeff.

"That's another thing," said Hal. "She provides all the countdowns an' all. She never takes that headset off or at least I never seen her."

Laura walked calmly over and shook hands with Doc and Marty.

"Marty McFly and Doc Brown, right," said Laura. "Mr Tracy said you'd be here to sort out the thing about the Hood. I guess you want some details, eh?"

Both Marty and Doc nodded. Suddenly, the radio set blared into life.

"Thunderbird 5 calling Ground Patrol, Thunderbird 5 calling Ground Patrol. Ground Patrol sector B, do you receive?" John's voice said.

"Ground Patrol receiving, awaiting statement." said Laura as Hal glanced after her sadly.

"It never ends, it don't," said Trent. "That radio's always goin' off apart from when it's broke and then she spends all her time fixin' it."

Marty coughed politely.

"You mentioned Laura's radio messages to International Rescue agents around the world. Surely they should have received the transmission? The Tracys've signal intercept towers in every country in the world," Doc intervened. "Great Scott, there's no way they can't have got the signal!"

"That's true, Doc," said Trent. "Which means that they might be incapacitated. It's got us all stressed out. No one knows what to do. I hope you can help?"

"Well, that's why me and Doc are here, though I suggest you don't stay here anymore," said Marty. "From this, all I can say is that as long as you're here, you're under constant threat. Why not move Ground Control?"

"Under threat," Laura asked looking up sharply. "From that Hood dude?"

"Yeah, that guy and go to Tracy Island." said Marty.

"Tracy Island," Trent said. "That's the one with that airheaded redhead, ain't it?"

"Gordon," Doc said. "Yes but you'll be going there on business terms, not to socialise."

"Maybe you should practise what you preach, Doc." Trent replied in the same cold voice, the deadpan expression still on his face.

How does he know about that? Whoa, he must have guessed, he can't know. Marty thought to himself.

Laura packed up her radio decisively in the awkward silence that had fallen on the room.

"I ain't gonna stay in this dump while Tracy Island's on offer, thanks, Marty, Doc!" she said walking towards the door. Hal jumped up and followed her.

"Okay, Quicksilver," said Hal. "Comin', Dudes?"

Doc and Marty followed the two International Rescue operatives with Trent bringing up the rear. Though Doc could not see him, he could still feel his blank emotionless eyes boring into the back of her skull. It gave him the impression that Trent never quite liked the Hood.

Chapter 4- Lady Penelope At Your Service

Brent Cross Shopping Centre, London, England, April 24 2010, 8:35pm

With a few shopping bags on her hands 24 year old Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward was refiled to be out shopping on her day off her International Rescue duties. People stared at her as she wore a dark denim jacket with a pink midriff showing T-shirt that said 'Eat my shorts' underneath, light blue jeans, pink sneakers and her hair in a ponytail. Doc and Marty arrived with Jeff and Scott holding some bags of there own and walked over to her. When they got there, Penelope smiled at the two oldest Tracys.

"Jeff, Scott, nice to see you." Penelope said smiling. Marty saw that Scott was wearing the dark denim jacket, dark denim jeans and blue sneakers he wore earlier on and he also wore a T-shirt with the words 'Dont Have A Cow' on it underneath the jacket.

Jeff and Scott smiled back and Scott said "Penny, I heard that Potsie are gonna do a gig on Saturday night, wanna come?"

"Scott, you've got a girlfriend in the Air Force already," Jeff scolded. "Maybe you can take Sandi and Penny can take your girl-crazy friend James Astin. I mean Potsie's your favorite band ever!"

"I guess you're right, Dad." sighed Scott.

"I bet the rest of the gang'll be going," said Marty. "I've heard so much about 21st century music from bith Doc and your sons, Mr Tracy."

They left the shopping center were Parker was standing outside with Lady P's car FAB1 and Jeff, Scott, Marty and Doc all saw Tracy 1 which was the Tracy family's private jet.

"Yo, Parker." said Scott.

"Hi, Parker." said Jeff.

"Good evening to the both of you!" Parker said to them both.

Penny put her walkman on her ears while Scott put his walkman on his own ears and she said "Don't worry about me, Boys, me and Parker will be coming to base and I heard that the Ground Control operatives from Hill Valley are there. Right, Parker?"

"Yes, Milady." Parker said as he and Penny got into FAB1 while Marty and Doc went into Tracy 1 with Scott and Jeff and they both took off for Tracy Island. From FAB1, Penny was singing Kelly Carnaby's latest hit song 'Cat Size.'

Now I'm done playing with fools
And I've paid all my childhood dues,
I find the mountain much steeper to climb,
Am I just one of the crowd?

I decided a few days ago,
There's no room for me in this show,
I changed my make-up completely this time,
Now I'm not one...one of the crowd

"I think I've 'eard that song before, Milady," siad Parker. "It's an old Suzi Quatro song."

"Thanks, Parker, I've only heard the Kelly Carnaby version." said Penny.

"Scott, are you listening to some song I think I heard before?" Marty asked from Tracy 1. Scott wasn't listening but was singing Potsie's latest hit song 'Surfer Babe'.

Feeling annoyed with Scott's signing, Jeff said "Scott, when I was in my 20s, I barely sang like a total jerk!"

"Who do you dudes think me or my dad sounded like?" Scott asked Doc and Marty.

"Your dad sounded Huey Lewis," said Marty. "I heard him singing in Thunderbird 1 but this is the first time I've heard you singing."

"And, Great Scott, can you two sing?" asked Doc. Scott turend his head towards Doc who was in the back with Marty.

Trangh 'the Hood' Belegrahnt hung up the caller on the other end of the line on his cellphone grinning. He had wanted revenge on International Rescue and pretty soon, he would get the Thunderbirds and rule the world.

The bald headed villian looked at his redheaded scientific advisor Transom and his black tough guy minion Mullion who knew the Hood had his most evil plan ever.

"Well, well, well, Jeff's teamed up with a Marty McFly lookalike and a Dr Emmett Brown lookalike." the Hood said, his tone smug.

"By the looks of things, they are Dr Brown and Marty McFly," Transom said to the Hood. "But they look like they came from the year 1985!"

"Wait, the least we could do is kidnap Dr Brown or that man that works for Mr Tracy Transom seems to have a crush on," said Mullion as Transom knew he was talking about Brains. "Knowing Transom, she just touch him were he doesn't like it. Tracy's youngest son drives me mad but I'll kill him."

"No you won't, Mullion," the Hood said. "I don't want you hurting any one of them!"

Mullion's face darkened as he said "You better let me hurt someone because if you continue telling me I can't hurt anyone, I'm afraid I'll kill someone."
