Smile Would you like the Gracie and the Kelly/Chuck storylines resolved by season's end?

Just curious if fans would like the Gracie (Who's her Daddy) and the Kelly and Chuck (Sexual tension) storylines resolved by the end of this season? I don't think they were originally intended to last only a season, but it seems the writers want to turn the show in another direction.

What do you think?

I wouldn't mind if they continued it into the next season. It would keep it more interesting and funny.

I'd like to see those storylines go into next season (Dear God, there better be a next season, lol). I was enjoying Gracie being in the dark. Once she knows, that changes the dynamic of the show bigtime. I'd like that to happen first, so we can see Chuck and Kelly spar as parents. Once that's established, bring on the sexual fireworks, lol. A cute storyline might be if Gracie keeps trying to get her parents together.

I think they are rushing things a bit if they are going to reveal to Gracie who her Dad is.

I guess nowadays you really don't know if your show is going to be a long running hit, so they try to wrap up the running storylines a lot faster.

Take a look at Kelsey's last show Frasier. How long did it take for Niles and Daphne to get together? Years, right?
Nowadays that plotline would be wrapped up by the end of season 1.

You certainly have a point, that is why I wish FOX will give them a vote of confidence...or not.

I am with you, I would love for the storyline to continue, but who knows if there will be a second season.

Ah man...this happened last year with Studio 60! I just hope this isn't no one-year wonder, lol...especially not with only 14 episodes on the table by the end of the season!

True, they tried to fit three years worth of storylines into one season, because they knew they weren't going to get a second season.

Although Amanda Peet's unexpected pregnancy probably had something to do with that too.

I'd hate to see either storyline end this season. I'd like the daughter storyline to at least go on until next season and the sexual tension one a bit longer. Hm, I just thought, what if Chuck and Kelly got together before Gracie knew Chuck was her dad and that's how she found out?
