Default Some possible evidence of DS actors scaring non-DS actors!

On an ep of The Brady Bunch DS actress Denise Nickerson guested and Peter dressed like Dracula in the ep! The BB gang may have been freaked out knowing she was coming to the set!

On an ep of Police Squad (later the basis for the Naked Gun films) Leslie Nielson acts with comely DS veteran Kathryn Leigh Scott. She may have scared him into weirdness as I believe soon after doing this ep Nielson starred in the scarey film Creepshow! She may have freaked Nielson out badly by showing him a still picture of her as the risen from the dead zombie of Josette Collins from DS. Any one got a morbid online picture-link of Josette (Scott) looking all disfigured!

In the 1972 film Snowball Express DS veteran Kathy Cody is in a scene where Dean Jones opens a trunk and out comes a bat. Some morbid vampire bat talk follows. Tell me Cody didn't inspire this scene!

Peter Sellers may have been scared knowing that Pink Panther co-star Robert Wagner starred with DS vet Kate Jackson in the terrifying tv movie Death at Love House! Sellers died a few after DALH aired! If Sellers stayed friends with Wagner this is perfectly possible!

Joan Bennett starred in Scarlet Street (soon after world War 2 ended) directed by Fritz Lang. Lang was half Jewish and he later went back to post-war Germany! What drove him back there! According to a bio on Lang by Patrick McGilligan (yeah almost like in Gilligan's Island) Bennett was involved romantically with Lang then they broke up. Maybe she was pursuing him all over Hollywood still and even without DS she could be scarey--sexy like in Scarlett Street-- but scarey!

More examples later!

Pleeeeeeeeeeze. I believe you know how silly your "scared" posts are now and you merely do this to entertain.

if i coulda met Kathy Cody back in 1972, i wouldn't been scared of her. i'd a been bopping her brains out....though i would have only been 6 years old at the time...i woulda found a way.
that girl was incredibly beautiful then.

i met Katherine Leigh Scott back in 2001. she didn't scare me one bit.
i met Lara Parker the next day. i wasn't afraid of her either. in fact, i had to remind her she was in the pilot movie for the Incredible Hulk tv show back in '77 (i think it was '77).

i met Alan Koss last year as well. i wasn't afraid of him one bit. and he was on CHEERS with Keene Curtis who was the voice of Judah Zachary....

i must be one fearless som' b*tch.....

yeah, got a few.
let me see..i met:

john karlen
katherine leigh scott
lara parker
diana millay (whatever her name is)
christopher pennock
david selby
roger davis
marie wallace
..dang. that other little chick that was friends with "david"..can't remember her name.

that's who i can recall without looking it all up.
everybody was cool. my thrill was davis as he is the only Twilight Zone person i have met and karlen.
this was at the World Trade Centre Marriot in NYC, 24 days before the hotel was destroyed.
knowing that, i guess bestman will say that all those DS actors scared the building so the Muslim highjackers chose it to crash into ...

Oh you met Marie Wallace too? Wow! that is great to hear. It is a really cool thing to meet actors/actresses from shows you are fond of.

I was telling Charles on another thread to be careful what he says or he will put ideas into Best Man's head.

Your comment abt the WTC Marriot...

yeah, my comment about the Marriot...it's so sad. i don't know if you have ever seen the footage of it's demise, but it has been played on the tv. when the #2 tower fell, (the first one to fall), the footage shows the tower falling onto the Marriot.
being as i was just there 3 weeks earlier, it really hit close to home to me.

i loved that weekend and meeting all those DS stars. James Storm was supposed to have been there but cancelled. i hated that as Gerard Styles is one of the better characters. but of course, the Reverend Trask was much better. Jerry Lacy played him very well.
my favourite part was when Trask bricked the chained Barnabas into the wall. he was so evil then.

Yeah, did see that on the footage. I can only imagine what it must feel like knowing you were just there and the next thing you know, that sh*t happened.

Was it a convention that was happening there, is that why all the actors/actresses were there? How did you find out they would be there?

yeah, it was DS convention. i was getting a DS newsletter at the time. i haven't gotten it in a few years now, but it can be very informative..anyway, i got connected to the details through it.
i haven't looked into it much in recent years, but i think all the good DS cons are back in california. i'd love to go back to one (plus the fact that love southern califoria) but it seems that i keep spending money elsewhere.
my life has always revolved around professional wrestling. i am promoting some here in NC now and my most recent trips have been to Las Vegas (wrestling convention with an excusion into southern california back in april) and i went back to japan in january for another wrestling trip. and with another convention in august that ALWAYS seems to coincide with the Twilight Zone cons, i can't go to them. all this takes away all my extra money. so, the DS cons are on a backburner....

Abe Vigoda (according to imdb) may have scared superstar Don Knotts of TAGS and Three's Company. Vigoda and Knotts worked on an ep of Fantasy Island together and then Vigoda and he were in Canonball Run 2 where they had no scenes together (perhaps at a frightened Knotts's insisitence) later they did a short cable skit for (I think TV Land) Vigoda was made out to be scarey in it (possibly an homage to his DS days!) and Knotts again had no actual scene with him! Vigoda may have also frightened Burt Reynolds on the Canonball Run 2 set (somehow I get the feeling Reynolds worked with everybody in that movie (I don't recall the film well enough to remember if Reynolds and Vigoda had any scenes together). Reynolds got a heart attack eventually!
