I was watching the NBC version of 5/25/94 UM and came across a lost loves case I had never seen before. The woman's name was Diane Hahnlein and she had some sort of rare blood disorder that could possibly be fatal. She was searching for her long lost sister, Marilyn, in hopes she would be a match at a possible bone marrow transplant. Does anyone remember that segment as I'm curious if there was ever an update that she was found?

Very sad case. I think the problem was the bastard in charge of the adoption agency altered all the records and it was impossible to learn anything from them.

Althought Diane did pass away, she was able to locate her sister. A private investigator was watching the Unsolved Mysteries broadcast and was able to located her sister Marilyn a week or so after the broadcast, and the two sisters were then reunited. Sadly, Marilyn was not a match for Diane's transplant and she died about a year later.
