Madderest Stupid commercials!!!!

Okay....I am thrilled that BET is airing reruns of this show, because it has been one of my favorites since I was little. But something that bothers me is that they are severely cutting up these episodes just to make room for a ton of stupid, annoying commercials! I know there's nothing we can do about it, but I just have to say that I freaking hate commercials!! Especially since they cut right into the show!

I have a feeling that NAN would do the same thing since both networks are owned by viacom.

I notice the commercial breaks are really random, but the episodes still make sense to me, it's not as bad as, say, ION.

Oh, ION's the worst, interupting programs every ten minutes to either sell you diarrhea pills, or stuff that scrapes the rough stuff off your feet! I just wish Sony would get off their kishtas and release the entire set of "Diff'rent Strokes" AND "Facts of Life" on DVD so we wouldn't have to put up with lousy commercial breaks, butchered up episodes, or stupid YouTube taking them down!

I would say every 4 minutes.....the way they butchered Alice was the worst!
Even worse than Hallmark's butchering and my friend, that is pretty bad!

ION also decides to air episodes of really good shows, like "The Monkees" and "The Wonder Years" up to a certain season, then they just pull them off with no warning!

I can envision the day when I have most everything I want on DVD and just be able to chuck the cable!

haha, that's pretty much what i've done already. Although all the series i like are not fully out on DVD, it's just too expensive here at school to waste the money on cable, and that means that we dont even get local channels because we are surrounded by mounds and the nearest city in which our "local" channels come from is an hour away, haha. So yea, i spend my nights watching my TV shows on DVD. But when new seasons come out, it's like waiting for the new series to start on tv... so i hope they release more DS and other shows VERY soon!

Well, just look at what BET did to "Sanford"-- the episodes are actually (noticeably) sped up to play faster, allowing more commercial time. The shows are unedited, but still affected.

So, why not play the ******** commercials faster to fit more in? Then the programs could run their full length and we could get double the ads for the PedEgg which, of course, everyone needs two of!

Well from what I saw it was a lot better than TNN back in 2001. i just wish BET could air the show at a better time like in the evening and not 9am in the morning

I agree most people who would watch DS is at school or work at 9 am. There is TIVO and DVR but not everyone has that

And BET can easily reduce the number of Malcom and Eddie Airings and put DS on in the afternoon at 4pm

Actually, I think we're already on our way towards that happening.
