Favorite episodes from Season 2?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My favorites are Rain, Ambush, Horse Thief, You Dirty Rat, Heatwave, Arsonist, Discovery, and Fish. I also loaned the first season DVD to one of my co-workers who'd never seen it before. He loves it, especially Fish.

It's been awhile since I watched Barney Miller in reruns -- however two of my favorite episodes were Rain and Heatwave -- LOL

Happy New Year was also a terrific episode. I didn't care much at first for Hot Dogs and Massage Parlor, but they grew on me in time.

^ Yeah, after you watch them a couple of times, they do kind of grow on you. I pretty much liked all the ones with Linda Lavin. She was always so hyper & funny.

I liked Wentworth's banter with Wojo, and her animosity towards Scanlon. I do think it was a real missed opportunity that we never saw Wentworth share a scene with Luger. THAT would've been classic!!

P.S. I got back my first season DVD from my co-worker and have loaned him Season 2. His favorite character is Fish.

I don't know how Abe Vigoda did all those deadpan looks - but they sure are hilarious!!
