yep, those were some good times! USA picked up where CBN Cable left off (and became The Family Channel).

I didn't get to see much of it originally since I didn't first cable until 1995. But I have gotten to see more of it lately thanks to tape trading. They had some AWESOME stuff through the years, a $25,000 Pyramid/$100,000 Pyramid hour, Bullseye, Play the Percentages, Scrabble, Sale of the Century, Press Your Luck, Hot Potato... with them airing the sitcoms and dramas that they did too, and even soaps like Edge of Night and Search for Tomorrow, I would have had such a blast watching USA back then.

They even showed $25,000 Pyramid and PYL episodes that GSN has still yet to air.

It was, it ran from September, 1987 until October 13, 1995 when the entire game show block was abolished and replaced by USA Live with shows as People's Court and Love Connection.

Yeah, plus it wasn't as much fun as it is being watchable anymore by that time, I'm glad I still have tapes of USA from 1986-95 when USA became blah, with the exception of their sitcoms like Wings which was dubbed USAM in the fall of '98 until the demise of the sitcoms at the end of 2000-2001. USA has since been unwatchable since the loss of the game show and sitcom blocks.

It was a 3 hour block of shows that had 1 1/2 block being The People's Court with Judge Wapner and the other half being Love Connection with Chuck Woolery. It lasted from October 1995 until July 1997.

Does anyone remember the cowboy that did the promos, and spoke inbetween commercials during the game shows? I especially remember him during commercial breaks of press your luck, and hot potato. I need videos of him.

For those wondering, Kathleen Murphy hosted the "People's Court" half, & Jim O'Connor hosted the "Love Connection" half.
