Default Running Gags in The Series

Post your favorite/all of the running gags in the series, from the most notable ones, to the minor ones that only occured in a few select episodes.

Here's acouple notable ones to me.

-Carlton's dance
-Will's fat jokes on Uncle Phil
-Jeffrey's Relative Sarcasm especially after a minor incident in the family
-Jazz being thrown out the house, or being involved with somebody being thrown out the house (he threw Uncle Phil out in the one Halloween Episode)

Continue the trend..

This was after Nicky came along in the series.

Whenever Vivian would say something with baby in it, Carlton would assume she meant him, rather than Nicky.

Another thing came to mind after watching the last ep of season 4 last night. Whenever references are made to the real life aspects of the show. Like when Carlton asked who the guy was that got into a fight with Will in Philly, Will says "That guy that spins me over his head in the opening credits".

That's called "breaking the fourth wall", and yeah, this show did that a lot.

yea they also broke the 4th wall when in some cases they were like "yea, and i'm a multi million selling rapper" when in fact Will Smith was at the time with his cd with DJ Jazzy Jeff (also on FP)

I think it was uncle Phil, who told Viv "Yeah, you would believe him if he said he was a rap star, whose album just went platinum".

And another very memorable breaking the 4th wall thing was when Will said "If we're so rich, why can't we afford a ceiling?", and then we got to see the studio ceiling above the set.

When Jeffery thought he won the lottery and he asked Ashley how does a Mercedez sound she said voom, voom, and he said very clever I will get you 2. Then Hillary says, voom, voom, voom, and Jeffery says nice try.

Phil always trying to gety Hillary out of the house. Hillary wanted to join a club for rich snotty girls, and Vivian says if she doesn't want to join she doesn;t have to, Phil says she could meet a rich guy with a nice car and drive her way that's what I want, and then he says that is what she wants I mean.

Carlton's favorite singer Tom Jones, who actually appeared on the show and had sex with a lady who's favorite singer was also Tom Jones.

When someone said there is a full moon and Jeffery turns around and sees Phil bending over and says I already see one.

When Phil and Vivian were looking for the sonogram and Phil says I found it and she said where, and Phil says the Chocolate Easter Bunny from Easter, and Vivian says for god sake Phil at least take off the wrapper after she say Phil sticking a peice of it in his mouth.

On a Halloween epsiode Carlton looks into the mirror and puts his hands to his face and screams and they say who you supposed to be and he says my idol Mccauley Cuklen(spelling) and Will says because they are the same height.

Then Will Ashley and Carlton were in the kitchen and Will says your just a a little bit taller than Ashley only because you have them shoe lifts, and Carlton says I doubled up on my oder eaters.

When the door bell rings and no one answers it Jeffery would say oh oh let me get it, oh goody I get to answer the door.

When the door bell rang and Hillary didn't answer it and Jeffery said you would let me get it on my day off.

When ever Will asked for the newspaper, Carlton would always say your not going to hit me with it are you?

When Carlton's ex-girfriend Lisa came back and the door rang and Carlton started jumping up and down and Jeffery said calm down before you wet yourself.

When ever Will would tell his problems to Nikki, Nikki would say what do I know I am just a kid.

Carlton would always try and hide behind Phil when something went wrong, not stand behind him litterly but would blame someone else and try and take Phil's side.

Right before Nikki was born Carlton said the Baby is already cutting into my inheritance and tthey baby is not even born yet.

Carlton always thinking about money and his inheritance.

Carlton always making fun of the way Will talked.

Making fun of Will's ears.

Carlton always making fun of Will when because he was smarter than Will.

When they were looking for Ashley when she ran away and Carlton said Ashley is reinburshing me for gas.

When Will said to Carlton when looking for Ashley, you think everything Uncle Phil says or does is right, Calrton says yes there is a good reason to what he does and says, don't you, Will says Hell Nooooo and gets taped by Carlton.

When looking for Ashley, Carlton says is if your talking about endowment mine is almost as big as Hillary's and Will says god I hope your talking about money.
