That the was the beauty of her character, she has these flaws, but yet, she has the balls to kick ass, (especially the karate part)with her mouth and her karate....how good is she, the best, she had the most comedy in the show, and a little jo to go with her.
watch it again, if u have tape it, watch her, really, i thought that was so funny when she slept with the one guy and couldn't remember she was talking to the wrong guy....lol, that was so great, (try walking out of a room, after that)...

Loved the Division, hate the time slot!
Good thing they'll show the second episode on Friday again. There was no way I was going to miss La Femme Nikita!

I thought Jinny was the most memorable character, and not just because Nancy plays her. You find yourself wondering what drives this person, why she has these compulsions to drink and sleep around when outwardly (and professionally), she seems tough and strong. I look forward to the confrontations between her and the captain, because her screwed-up personal life probably affects her job performance. I'm also glad the writers had her make that comment about always being "safe," even though she's totally loose. Not that it makes her promiscuity OK, but it was a responsible touch on their part.

Totally agree, Nancy is wicked good. She has a great ability to play a level headed chracter and then one with many flaws. I really liked Jinny. She really seemed to be strong on the outside, but she showed her weaknesses as well. I'm wondering if maybe there's a secret in her past... Hopefully this show will be around for a while so we can find out!

...of course Jo is still the best

Nancy is great! If you watched the IP on her, she said that she enjoyed playing flawed characters, because she has some of her own, but everyone does. I thought she did a really good job. I loved the karate scene. She really takes karate, I thought that was pretty cool. Does anyone know what belt she is? I think Nancy is the greatest, along with the reast of you!!!

She had a green belt on in the IP, but I couldn't tell you what that means in karate.

Well, as to the "What does a green belt mean in Karate" question... I happen to be involved in the martial arts, so I can probably explain something.

All of the different martial arts have a different belt system. Therefore a green belt in Your system is a different level than a green belt in Mine, or there may not even BE a green belt in Another system.

(Now that I re-read that, it sounds kind of confusing. lol)

Basically, if someone will post what the name of the martial arts system she does is, I might be able to find out. But just knowing that she's a green belt isn't gonna tell you anything.

SO.... someone post what system it is! lol. You have me curious now..

Keep it real!

I am absolutly amazed by Nancy's ability to play a character like Jinny who has so much confidence in herself and who drinks like that and who sleeps around and then to play a character like Joanie who has absolutly no confidence in herself and cant get a guy. I love Jinny, I think her character is so awesome. I think the fact that she sleeps around is so funny. Although I know it's not but I dont think much of it cause I know that Nancy is playing her and I know that Nancy doesn't sleep around.
