LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "The Wonder Years" veteran Fred Savage will play the lead role in the CBS comedy pilot "Single White Millionaire."

The project revolves around an unassuming tycoon in his 30s who is ready to settle down. Savage most recently starred on ABC's short-lived 2006 comedy "Crumbs."

Gee, I hope this won't cause viewers to forget his most famous work! You'd think he'd stay home with his children!

What is that supposed to mean?

1. An actor can appreciate an association to one role, but if he or she is expected to be that his whole life, then he/she is not a good actor.

2. Why should be stay home? Perhaps he needs to earn an income? Perhaps he enjoys his work? There are such people called babysitters and nannies... perhaps he and his wife have employed one.

Jay, with that logic I think you are insinuating that the actors on Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch are not good since they never got any major roles after those shows.

Yeah, after making the setting 1988 (20 years prior) and making the name and plot reflect "The Wonder Years", kind of like "Kevin Loves Winnie", inspired from "Joanie Loves Chachi".
