In one of the "Grady" eps without Fred, Grady accidently fires a rifle that wasn't supposed to be loaded. He kinda had it pointing toward the
front door, just like Fred did when he shot out Goldstein's window in an earlier ep.

Goldstein was never seen after that.....coincidence?

I think it was called "Tyrany, thy name is Grady"....from season 3.
This ep. featured Lamont with his arm in a sling.(he fell off the truck due to a faulty tailgate)
Grady is staying in the house, while Fred's in St.Louis, and proclaims himself as being "THE BOSS"!
When Lamont disagrees, Grady shows how serious he is about protecting Fred's house by getting a rifle from the closet.
He doesn't accidently fire the rifle until the last scene, but points the "empty" rifle at Lamont several times during this ep.
