Default have any of you had this problem

Hey all,

i was just wondering if any of you have had this problem and know how to fix it. I put in the ILL disc( season five i think where they are in hollywood. Its the disc with Lucy visits Graumans Chineses Theatre, Lucy and John Wayne, etc.) I put the disc in last night before bed and watched almost all of the episodes. Tonight when i went to play the dicsc i hit play all and it started with The Great Train Robbery. so i stopped the episode and went to the main menu and hit play all again and it did the same thing? Has this happened to you and any suggestions on how to fix it.

Are you saying that it RESUMES from where you stopped watching? If THAT'S the case, then just take the disc out by ejecting and start it again, then choose which ep you want.

Splain,

No it doesn't "pick up where i left off" it starts at the opening with the pink heart that has the episode title on it. so i stop it and go to the main menu and select play all again and it starts all over with the pink heart and the episode title "The Great Train Robbery"

Oops, sorry then, i'm useless with this computer crap, sorry. VHS were so much simpler, then again, you constantly had to rewind or see scips here and there from wear.

Do you mean you can't go to the episode you want? I think I'm a bit confused on what you're saying too. It seems like popping it out and putting it back in, like Splain said, would fix it.

my suggestion is when asked to play ALL episodes at the beginning of the menu I do not choose this function but key down to the episode I want to play.

After you watched the disc that evening, did you leave the disc inside the player? Or did you remove it from the player and put it back in the next day?

i left the disc in. what had happened was i put the disc in while i was in bed( i am weird, i set the timer on the tv so it will turn off but i have to have some noise while i fall asleep) and i hit play all so they would play consecutively. so they played all the episode and when i woke up it was on the main menu. so i hit the play all button again and it went straight to the Great Train Robbery episode instead of Lucy vists Graumans Chinese like it should have.

Have you still had this problem since then? Have you removed the disc since then?

I know when I have done exactly what you said above (with my son's DVD's) if I leave it in and turn it off and then return and hit PLAY, it will resume where it was at when I turned off the player or hit stop.
