Thumbs up Favorite Idols of All Time

I know this has been posted before, but eh what the heck?

Here are mine. I'll do uh...10.

1. Kelly Clarkson - simply the best... IMO, no one has even come close to her, ever. Likeable personality, amazing voice... can't get any better

2. Constantine Maroulis - Gorgeous, first off lol and secondly while he may not have had the best voice during his season (that would go to Carrie..dur) he was sooooo entertaining. I have met him too and he was so sweet! Definitely the best PERFORMER of Season 4. Uh Bohemian Rhapsody, much?

3. Chris Daughtry - Ditto to like, everything I said about Constantine haha. One of idols most shocking eliminations, IMO. Amazing stage presence, seems like a nice guy, and seems really genuine.

4. David Archuleta - Yes, I know it may be very early in the game, but I absolutely love this kid. Very simple person...not cocky at all.. just loves to sing and sings so well. He is so young, yet has the talent of someone who has been performing for 30 years. INCREDIBLE.

5. Clay Aiken - Probably the best male vocalist on any season of AI, EVER. Although D. Arch is slowly getting to that level too. Bridge Over Troubled Water remains one of my favorite performances of all time.

6. Carly Smithson - Like I said, I know it's early, but I absolutely love her too. She has an incredible voice, probably at the same level or if she improves, maybe even better than Kelly Clarkson. A true star!

7. Vonzell Solomon - I was telling someone before that I never tend to like the DIVAS in American Idol (IE: Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, La Toya, Mandisa, Syesha, etc), but this girl is an exception. Such a cute, fun, happy personality and a pleasure to watch on stage. She always picked the best songs to really show off this personality and I simply adore her.

8. Carrie Underwood - I thought she was a little overrated during season 4, but looking back on it now, she really was great. Although I really don't listen to the music she puts out today, she gave many performances that just just amazed me...notably, Alone and Trouble.

9. Anthony Fedorov - Very UNDERrated, IMO. He had such a powerful voice. It's just that he often picked the wrong songs. But you can see the range of his talent by watching "I Surrender"...ahh..gives me chills.

10. Melinda Doolittle - Now now, I really despise season 6 with a fiery passion but this woman is incredible. Same thing about the divas thing that I said about Vonzell. Except it's different and here's why. She has the power of a diva voice, but not the ATTITUDE of one. She was always so grateful for any praise she received, unlike many of the divas who had the attitude that they were obviously expecting this praise. She is very real.

not in any specific order...though Carrie is probably #1

Carrie Underwood - my love for Carrie during Season 4 was what made me get REALLY into Idol (before that i just watched it casually) and no obsession of any contestant has ever topped my Carrie obsession. she's also gotten even better after Idol. though im kinda over my obsession with her now, i still really like her music. so...yeah. Carrie rules.

Chris Daughtry - i was TICKED when he was eliminated, but looking back, he was better off getting eliminated over making the finale and then getting Bo Bice'd. anyway, i've enjoyed Chris's post-Idol music more then any other contestant, plus he was pretty awesome during his season.

David Archuleta - he's got a great voice, and i find his personality to be hilarious, and oddly similar to mine in many ways. he is really just an awesome human being in general. WOO DAVID. if he doesnt win this season it is truly going to be a travesty.

Jordin Sparks - Jordin is the ONLY reason that i didnt stop watching last year. she's got an awesome personality, a great voice, and No Air and Tattoo are two awesome songs. its too bad she wasnt in a different season or i probably would've liked her even more.

Kelly Clarkson - i don't think anyone can argue that Kelly was the most consistent AI contestant ever, and she's the definition of "darkhorse". not to mention her post-Idol stuff is awesome, especially Breakaway, though i didnt care for her last album all that much. but anyway, she's the ORIGINAL American Idol, and she's got an awesome voice and she's made some great music.

so yeah...that's my top 5. i've liked other people but those are the only ones i've LOVED.

Like what you told me: U r officially an AWESOME human being.

Yea, Carrie. She's the only one who sings songs I can relate to. Altho, I like the other contestants.

Anthony Fedorov - My favorite of them all. I loved his voice from the very first moment I heard it. I agree with Krisalicious, he was very underrated and his performance of "I Surrender" was amazing.

Elliott Yamin - Great voice and great personality. One of my favorites. I'm glad he's been really successful.
