Default Which Willis did you prefer?

The angry Willis from the earlier seasons OR the softer Willis who was a wannabe ladies man? lol

I think the earlier Willis worked much better. His character became quite annoying in the later episodes in my opinion.

the younger willis had a bit of a temper tantrum, of which annoyed me. i disliked it when he would take out his anger on mr drummond or his younger brother when they didn't do anything bad to him. so my vote would go to the older willis, even though he did get a bit dull as a person, during the latter seasons

The very early Willis was like a Michael Evans of Good Times, in attitude. One in a ghetto, one on Park Avenue......

well, i think they made Willis too "white" in latter seasons (and I mean Carlton Banks white), but... at least he seemed to be a nice guy and at peace then, he was too bitter in the first season or two

I do agree his temper was out of control and should have not acted that way towards his family, especially in the pilot ep, I DO like that Willis better.

I will admit from an ethnical standpoint that Willis was a bit washed out in later years , but Carlton was worse. If Will had met Willis and Carlton at the same time, he would have thought that Willis was way cooler or the lesser of two evils.
