I was always wondering that because if your uncle gets married shouldn't you call there wife aunt so why didn't Cody?

Wasn't there already a thread on this?! But, why didn't JT, Al, and Brendan call her mom, huh? The same reason!

I think it was because he was already an adult, when Frank got married to Carole. If they had gotten married while Cody was still a little boy, or even a teenager, he probably would have called her "Aunt".

I agree Cody was older and probably had been to used to Frank being single for a long time.
