I know Hogan's Heroes shows us the actors and their names in the opening credits AND in the closing credits, they show us the character names along with the actor who played the character.
What other shows do/did this? |

can't think of any, except "TAXI" but someone already said that.
Oh, wait-I think "STAR TREK" did it, too. |

"I Dream of Jeannie" did it in the first couple of seasons. Larry Hagman and Barbara Eden appeared in the opening credits and the closing credits. After the second season, they stopped doing it and only had them in the opening credits; I guess they thought we knew who they were by then. LOL.

WKRP pretty much always did that every episode in the closing credits.
I think Bewitched did the same practice, too. And I think quite a few '50s and '60s shows did this, too. The Untouchables and I Love Lucy also had this practice. The Untouchables stopped this practice in its final season, though. Gidget, I think used this practice, b/c I thought I saw Sally Field's name in the closing credits. The Monkees, b/c they would show their names and faces right before the rest of the closing credits. |

Can't do that now. Loses too much time. You can't have a snappy theme song for it takes too much time. Tv shows go on differently now.

Gilligan's Island has the same opening and closing credits as Hogan's Heroes.
