Every weekend I have been going though my extensive archives and I love when I find something I forgot I had!!! This weekend it was the pilot (which according to a site never aired) of the 1988 series "The Munsters Today", it is a commercial free master with the title "Still Munster After All These Years"....it is a pretty dreadful show but of course historic, Dave Madden (Partridge Family) has a small part.

Speaking of The Munster's Today, I've been catching episodes on the new Hulu.com site. It's really cool, it's like watching a new show since I haven't seen the show since it was originally aired.

I used to have a book that listed almost every TV show, and gave a review of it, from 1949 up until 1989 (when the book was written) and it said about that dreadful "MUNSTERS TODAY" show that it looked like an ametuar community theater was putting on plays based on its favorite 60s show. But unbeknowenst to them, someone who was an audience regular, was secretly videotaping their amatuarish productions, and selling them, to be broadcast to the entire country.
I couldn't agree more-that's EXACTLY what it looked like!!! |
