Default Dave's Story!

I decided to make a story based on my secoondary character, Dave. You guys all know my primary character, Darryl(I have about 5 or six stories on Darryl. But I've never had a story about Dave. Tell me how you like it).

Part One.

I was in Professor Fleichmann class studying History, when I looked up and saw one of the cutest guys I’d ever saw. He was blond, had sparkling blue eyes, was about 6’1, lean, and muscular. I blushed. I’d known I was gay ever since I was 10, but I’d never felt such a strong attraction to a guy before.

He walked up to Professor Fleichmann and gave him a note. Professor Fleichmann read the note and then looked at me. “Dave, this note says that Dean Riley wants to see you.”

That’s right. I’m Dave Winston, a 14 year old Freshman at Marshall Johnson Academy, a boarding school for boys. I wondered what Dean Riley wanted to see me about.

I thanked Professor Fleichmann and quickly glanced over at the cute guy again, and smiled guiltily to myself. Then, I walked over to Dean Riley’s office. I knocked on Dean Riley’s door. Dean Riley opened up his door and gestured for me to come in. I did. Then he sat at his desk.

I closed the door. “You wanted to see me?” I asked him.

“Yes, I did,” he said with a big smile. “Sit down.” I did. Dean Riley was an older man, around his 50’s, with a chubby face and gray hair.

He took out some papers and showed them to me. He happily explained that these papers showed that I was on the Honors List, for making all A’s and B’s. “Congratulations, Dave,” he concluded, shaking my hand warmly.

“Thanks,” I said, in numb excitement. I was an Honor student! I was in a state of happy shock. I happily walked out of Dean Riley’s office.

As I was walking back towards Professor Fleichmann’s class, I saw the cute guy. “Hey, I’m now an Honor student!” I told him excitedly.

“Congratulations,” He said, and while he was saying this, I looked into his sparkling blue eyes and saw a look of warmth. He was slightly smiling too. I blushed inwardly.

“Thanks, I” I told him.

“I’m Max Cartwright,” he told me suddenly. “I’m a Junior here. “ He and I were walking side by side. “You won’t believe this,” he continued, “But, Max is my full first name. It’s not short for Maxwell or anything like that. My parents gave me a nickname for my full name.” He chuckled softly.

I couldn’t “believe” something, and I was about to tell him. “Hey, I’m Dave Winston,” I told him. “Dave is my full first name too. Isn’t that something?” I said, lightly.

“Yeah, we have something in common,” Max said lightly too. He smiled a little wider. His smile was great! I melted a little inside. I knew I couldn’t tell him how I felt right now. I didn’t know if he was gay or not. I can usually tell right off the bat if someone is gay or not. When you’re gay, you usually have “Gay Radar,” that enables you to know who’s gay. But, I couldn’t get any “readings” on this guy.

We walked over to my class, just talking about random things. I realized I liked talking to Max. We said, “Bye,” and I went inside.

All throughout the rest of the class, I thought about Max. I thought we had a real connection. But, I didn’t want to jump to any conclusions. In my middle school, I seriously thought another guy was gay and liked me. We had been having a really good time hanging out in an ice cream shop, pigging out and just talking about a lot of things. I had a huge crush on this guy, and I felt the feeling was mutual. He leaned in to me, and I leaned forward and kissed him on the mouth. He backed up with a disgusted look on his face and punched my lights out. He turned out to be straight. Oops. Not only had he been straight and knocked me unconscious, he told other students what had happened the next day, and there was a big rumor going around that I was gay. The rumor was true, but I denied it. I said that it was just a joke, and I had kissed him just to play a prank on him because I had way too much time on my hands. They seemed to believe it, though me ex-crush didn’t want to be alone with me anymore.

I graduated from that school however, and got accepted at MJA.

How'd you guys like the story so far? I would really appreciate feedback, because I've never wrote a story based on Dave.....

This can't be a good sign. I lost the notebook that had the rest of "Dave's story". That's gotta be a bad sign when you lose the notebook that has the story in it. Now, I'll have to remember the story from memory, or re-write it.

Actually, I see why the Dave story just didn't work out. Dave is not a strong enough character to have his own "spin-off" story....... In my opinion, in order for a spin-off to work, the spin-off character has to be a really strong character. Seriously, would you watch I Am Sam(a spin-off of ICarly's Sam)? Or Freddie(a spin-off of Freddie from ICarly). I don't think so. Neither of those characters are really strong chaarcters just yet to have thier own shows. Just like Dave should just stick to being a secondary character of the Darryl stories. To me, Darryl is a really strong character, tens times stronger than Dave. I can post lots of Darryl stories, but I can't even finish one of Dave solo.
