I was poking around looking at missing persons cases, and this one has to be one of the strangest I've ever seen --- Jason Jolkowski:

That said, I think of this as incredibly strange because we are talking about a 20 year old MAN here, not some young kid or teenager, who disappeared in broad daylight eight blocks from his house, without a trace. This doesn't really have the profile of a sex crime, nor does it have the profile of a suicide, since he had made a definite plan to meet someone that he was apparently pursuing at the time of his disappearance. And, if he had killed himself, what possible way could he have done so that would have allowed him to completely disappear within blocks of his own home? Any theories on what happened here? I suppose it could be that Jason was involved in things his parents didn't know about it (drugs, etc.) that would have led to someone abducting him to murder him, but really, there's no solid evidence of that that I've found. |

So, I was sort of right about Jason. He is not mentally ********, but he did have speech issues, apparently, according to the biography (apparently written by his family) posted on http://www.theyaremissed.org/ncma/co...ile_jjolkowski :
