TVShowsOnDVD.com has made a news post about the 8th season dvd release of HI. It will be available on June 10th and will feature all 28 episodes, a new blooper reel and the 2003 reunion special. More info and a boxshot is available at the link below!

This is awesome I've been waiting for this announcement forever, all I can say is it is about time.

It's about time - I thought BV would never make the announcement. I really like the cover art this time. And finally, we get a bonus feature besides bloopers.

28 episodes - that means this set will enclude the Backstage Special ABC aired after the series finale, which is a great addition to the set.

I"m shocked at the still-low price of only $23.99 (SRP). Also, this release is 4 discs instead of the usualy 3 (too bad they couldn't have started this 7 seasons ago-LOL). For 4 discs, 28 episodes, and bonus features, I've never seen such a low SRP in my life.

Any news about a complete series set? I have been buying the seasons as they have come out, but I was wondering if a complete set might be in the near future with possibly more special features and maybe some of the picture quality on some of the episodes fixed. Anyone have any thoughts or info?

Never say never but it doesn't look promising. Buena Vista finished releasing The Golden Girls over a year ago and there has been no official complete series boxset.
