Idol Top 11: Beatles night 2 ---> What should they sing? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Yeah the title is self explanatory haha.

Here are my opinions.

David Arch - YESTERDAY. He needs this like BADLY BADLY BADLY after his horrendous (I'm sorry! I still love you!) performance last week. He would do amazing with this song and who cares if its not upbeat he can so do it. I think he could pull off WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS as well...if he does the version from the Wonder Years.

Michael- Okay I realized that he TOTALLY reminds me of.. and sounds like the main character in "Across the Universe." Therefore I loved his performance last night even though it may not have been that great. Now that I'm off on a tangent, he needs to sing either GIRL or even better I'VE JUST SEEN A FACE. If you listen to the versions from the "Across the Universe" soundtrack, you'll know what I mean. AHH.

David C - LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS PLS.

Jason - ALL MY LOVING!!

Brooke - HEY JUDE. It has the same type of appeal as LET IT BE, which she did amazing with last week. I think she'd do even better with Hey Jude though.

Amanda - HELTER SKELTER. Great song.. perfect for her.

If only these would all come true!

Yeah that's all the ideas I have so far. I'll post more if I think of any!

David A NEEDS to do a ballad. i don't give a crap about what Simon says, he'd kick ass with either "Hey Jude" or "Yesterday". i'd go with "Yesterday", but "Hey Jude" is a bit more cheery so Simon may not get on his case if does that. so...i dunno. either one works.

Brooke could definitely do well with "Hey Jude" as well, and if not that, i think "Blackbird" is nicely suited for her.

Michael should do "A Hard Day's Night"...he needs to do something more upbeat and tha'd be perfect for him.

ermm ill think of more later
