Default Anyone watching "What Would You Do" on ABC Primetime on Fridays

This show is very interesting, I watched for the first time last week when they had a segment about what would you do if a waitress or waiter flirted with your boyfriend or girlfriend. And then it was another segment about what would you do if you see-"teenage boys picking on a homeless man and punching him" This show has caught my attention and they have another interesting segment coming up this week but I can't remember what it was-lol

It is a limited series. It is only through April 1, with a preemption next week for the new sitcom Miss Guided.

"PRIMETIME: WHAT WOULD YOU DO?," TUESDAY, MARCH 11 ON ABC
A Couple Fighting in Public... A Waiter Flirting with Your Wife... A Stranger in Need...
When People See a Situation That Cries Out for Action, Do They Step in,
Back Away or Just Walk on by?

What would you do if you saw a couple fighting in the park -- the boyfriend on the verge of physically harming the woman? What if he is black and she is white, or vice versa - would his race make a difference? Using hidden cameras, "Primetime: What Would You Do?" sets up everyday scenarios to capture people's reactions. Whether they're compelled to act or mind their own business, John Quiñones reports on their split-second - and often surprising - decisions. "Primetime: What Would You Do?" airs TUESDAY, MARCH 11 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

People speculate on how they might act in a difficult situation, but this series looks at what they actually do in the face of dilemmas that test their character and values. Tuesday's scenarios include:

* Interracial Abuse: A bi-racial couple engages in a very public domestic dispute - bordering on abusive. When a boyfriend is on the verge of physically harming a woman in a public park, will people intervene? Viewers see that some people show incredible courage while others just walk right by. Will bystanders show the same courage when the boyfriend is black? Will their interpretation be different?
* Good Samaritan: Based on a famous university experiment, "Primetime" asks people to prepare a speech on the biblical parable of the Good Samaritan and then go to another location to record their speech on camera. But on the way, they encounter someone in need. Will anyone stop to help and be a real life Good Samaritan? "Primetime" reports on what causes a person to help someone they don't know.
* Stranger Flirtation: "Primetime" turns the tables as it continues a scenario involving unwanted flirtation from a stranger. Last week an attractive waitress openly hit on a man dining with his spouse at a romantic restaurant. This week viewers see how men react to a waiter hitting on their significant other, and how one woman gets the surprise of her life after her dinner.

This week's interactive "What Would You Do?" scenario looks at how people handle an office situation where their boss leaves behind his blackberry displaying an open email in which he takes credit for a project they've done. The segments incorporates viewers' video reactions submitted at http://ugv.abcnews.go.com/Player.aspx?id=2811429 and includes expert advice on how to handle this scenario.

I also watched it last week & thought it was very good. But a few of the bystanders that jumped into help got a little too physical. Wonder if anyone has ever gotten hurt while filming these segements?

It started Tuesday, February 26, Solomon. It had a preview airing Friday, Feb. 22 on 20/20. I think it is only a 5 episode series...I'm sure it will return as a series again as it is doing decent in the ratings.

There was one segment where they showed a woman's purse getting snatched from a bar and the poor guy who was the "thief" ended up getting punched in the face by a good samaritan.

It is an interesting series. 20/20 has done this before a few years back, but it was only a one time segment I believe.

It is great news television. It shows REALITY. That is definitely reality tv. No one knows they are on camera and we get to see how they would behave in real life.

My boyfriend saw the flirty waitress segment and he said, "Oh man, if that happened to us, that waitress would get the wrath of Irene in a split second." Damn straight!

You are so off Solomon. That was not it. It was because her boyfriend didn't react the way she expected him to. Mind you, he was in on the experiment, so he COULDN'T REACT THE WAY HE WANTED, he was told to just let it happen so the cameras could catch the reaction of his girlfriend. She wasn't worried abt how that waitress looked, it was abt the lack of reaction from her boyfriend. Normally, he would have said something to a waitress who was behaving that way. No person wants another person hitting on their mate/spouse, that is downright rude.
