You've got a good point there, but I'd have to go with Harmony (the town on Passions). The residents had their houses sucked into hell, had the disaster on the prom boat, simians posing as nurses, a witch and a living doll...and the one that capped them all, the young man who became pregnant by his father (!!). Please don't ask me to explain that one.

Yeah, I think Harmony definitely wins first place on this one! Kinda ironic that they call a town like that Harmony, isn't it?

Okay...a young man PREGNANT by his FATHER???? What is this...The Sims 2?????? (LOL, for those who don't play The Sims, on that game you can put in a cheat code and force an alien abduction and if a guy Sim is abducted he always returns pregnant, LOL!) Catlover, you said don't ask you to explain....don't worry! I won't! I don't think I EVEN want to know the answer to THAT one! I went for several years without watching Y&R and I'm just now getting back into it and I'm STILL struggling to come to turns with Nick and Phyllis! I don't think I could handle Passions!

^ Passions is no longer on the air...I think they finally ran out of bizarre stories to tell (no, they were really cancelled due to low ratings).

I would vote for Collinsport on Dark Shadows. They had vampires, witches, ghosts, a werewolf, a Frankenstien like monster, not to mention the same problem other soap towns had like dysfuntional familes and failed relationships.

Harmony was my first thought, too!!! Collinsport is a good one, too, although Harmony was more than likely loosely based on the town as well!!!

^ Yes, I think Passions definitely borrowed some elements from DS, although I don't think they ever had a vampire.

Tabitha, the 300-year-old witch, was probably the most normal one in the whole town!!
