It’s time for another whoooooooa Bundy as the eighth season of the long running sitcom “Married... With Children” arrives on DVD! The whole family is back (thankfully without that awful Seven character) along with Marcy and Jefferson in this three disc DVD set. The eighth season is the one that truly pushes the series into more for what it was remembered for in its later days... a completely offbeat series about a completely screwed up family. It isn’t as if it wasn’t that in the earlier seasons, but the later seasons strongly reinforced that.

As the runtimes match the R2 release exactly, I wouldn't be surprised if these edits can be found:
SEASON EIGHT: S08E07 "Take My Wife, Please" During the end credits the cast and the Village People are dancing to "YMCA", the DVD uses a freezeframe. S08E16 "How Green Was my Apple" During the end credits Al and Jefferson are fighting on the lawn for the apple, which Buck takes and walks away. The DVD uses a freezeframe and replaces the dialogue with the theme song. S08E18 "Get Outta Dodge" During the end credits we see Al driving the Dodge in the desert, the DVD uses a freezeframe. S08E23 "Legend of Ironhead Haynes" During the end credits we see Al walking into the garage and looting the hidden refrigerator, the DVD shows a freezeframe of him, and has the theme song playing. S08E24 "Assault and Batteries" During the end credits we see Al and Peg looking at the screen, trying to get their 3D-glasses to work. The DVD uses a freezeframe with theme song playing instead of the dialogue. |

Great, I knew it was only a matter of ime before Sony screwed up the packaging with frickin' slim-case DVD's! Why start that ***** with the 8th season?? It will look awful in the shelves. Damn you Sony, damn you to hell!
