Default Why do I feel like it's more to this story about Sherri sheppard's absence on View?

It was said she was not on the View today because she was sent home because since she was coming down with the FLU-lol

Sound like bullsh*T??

A lot of the time when you have to go to work you go even if you're sick. And I'm pretty sure if there were more behind her absence yesterday, she wouldn't have been there this morning.

A few weeks ago I had the flu, but that didn't make the work that I had to do go away. I still had to go to my many meetings and go into the office sick as a dog, but I had to put a smile on my face and act as if there was nothing wrong. Some times you have to grin and bare it

The woman is sick, what is there to get to the bottom of?

She can't be absent? Whoopi was out sick a few weeks ago and you didn't make a post about it. Just wondering

They said she was THERE and was sent home because she was sick. Wouldn't someone know if they was sick before they left the HOUSE???????-LOL

Yes you know your sick before you leave the house. But you can get sicker as the day progress. You have to remember when they get to work it's very early in the morning, probably around 5am. So as the morning progress you can get sicker.

Just let the woman miss a day of work, you're reading to much into her absence.

And how about her "cathing a plan early" that one day? Sounds fishy. lol. Just kidding.

In all seriousness, my mom went into work sick many times and she came home early because she WAS sick. Like Brieanna said, people get sick as the day goes on. At first they think they can tough it out to earn that paycheck. But as the day goes on, they get to thinking 'do I want to die just for money or do I want to be alive and happy?' The latter always wins.
As long as Elisabeth is there, I don't care who's sick. lol.

And if you watched that episode you would see that she had a deep "sicky" like cough. She also said that she was doing some kinda standup or show today I think. When you have a contract, you work.

What is wrong with that? I have gone to work and then left home sick and returned the next day.

Barbara misses more time from the View for reasons other than being sick and no one raises a stink abt it.

I don't think he realizes that a lot of the time you have to go to work sick as a dog and still put a smile on your face.
