Because people are so damn greedy. If anyone should be pissed about money, it should be firefighters and police and any other profession in which people put their lives/health in danger to save others. These people should be paid more than actors, writers, singers, etc.

I can't argue that, but why should the studios hog all the money that is made and not pay the actors enough? Its the same way in the music industry.

I agree to an extent, but let's face it, today's superstars make more with one role than the stars of yesteryear made in their entire careers. Are we supposed to feel sorry for people like Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise who earn $25 million per movie?

Well I'm not talking about the superstars, per se. The less paid ones.

Like in the case of the WGA strike, I supported the reasoning behind it, but I hate how the fans get screwed and at times, they annoyed me.

The one thing the writers strike proved was that the TV industry didn't come to a screeching halt. The Networks simply amped up their production of reality shows to pick up the slack.
You don't think they'll do that if the actors go out on strike?

Did you see the ratings during the strike?
