One of the most overhype QB's in NFL history, he should have retired 4 years ago

I'm a huge Packers fan so I'm probably a bit biased but I think this is a huge loss for the NFL.
He was such a beloved icon and player, I think arguably the most popular player in NFL history and when everyone thought he should have been done, he responded with a renaissance, record-breaking 2007 even though it sadly ended with the interception Can you even picture another QB leading the Packers? He is an iconic Packers figure and an iconic NFL figure and I have no respect for anyone who says he is overrated, maybe the COVERAGE of him was over the top and the fawning that some analysts and commentators had for him, I can understand why that irritated some, but he is a LEGEND... maybe not the greatest QB of all time (though I think he is), but certainly one of the top ones and definitely one of the most beloved players to ever play the game Thank you for the memories, Brett |

and I appreciate what DVDFreaker said, you don't have to like him (especially if you're a Vikings, Lions, and Bears fan haha) - but come on, give him the respect he deserves
I think the most impressive record is not the TD passes, yards, wins, etc, it is the STARTING streak. The last time he didn't start was when the first President Bush was in office, how ridiculous is that. Amazing... |

He is FAR from a ICON because in the playoffs in this DECADE he has done nothing
I can't believe said he is #3 QB of all time, that's crazy |
