Post More random thoughts....

Okay, you guys probably know by now, I have soooooo many things I wanna discuss, but don't want to waste posts. So, here goes:

I was just wondering, how long has that scene of Jinny looking out over the water (the last scene of tonight's ep) been in the intro or the opening credits thing? It seemes like it's been there since the show started. Maybe they shot that early on as a part of an episode but never used it, then decided to use it as the last scene of the ep. Did NE1 else notice this?

How did Cap know about Jinny wondering about whether her mom loved her? I mean, at the end there, she called her daughter and was like, "I love you." It seems to me she did that after hearing how Jinny wondered about her mother's love. But she left early and wasn't there? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Giving your 11 year old daughter a beer? HELLO!!!!!! WARNING SIGN!!!!!!!! And he's a cop, too! He of all people has probably handled so many drunk driver cases and other alcohol related stuff, he should know not to be drinking and especially giving his own daughter a beer!

I'm glad Lifetime didn't have Jinny go to rehab. That would have made next season so boring. Next season will probably all be about Jinny almost recoving then drinking again, then quitting then drinking again...it'll keep things interesting.

I really wonder if Jinny's dad knows why
her mom did it. He seemed really sincere about not knowing, but like she said, she was his WIFE of thirty years, for heaven's sake!

Nancy has stumbled upon an incredible show and an incredible part. I have a feeling this show will have a very healthy run.

Jo: Partners? You mean 50-50? Uh, 50-50-50-50-50?
Blair: Good, Jo, we'll let you do the books!

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

And from your two resident off-topic queens, Danielle and I, who are still looking for that 12 step program by the way:

Cool

I noticed that last scene,,,too, with Jinny staring over the water at the Golden Gate Bridge. I think it was used in the pilot,,or maybe not since she had short hair in the pilot ep. There is a similar shot of Jinny in the opening credits....we've def seen that scene somewhere,,though. BTW,,she didn't have bangs in that shot but had them in yesterday's show. OK,,enuf obsessing over the last scene,,lol.

I wonder if one of the girls told the Cap about Jinny's mother after the intervention. Maybe Cap has an idea of what is going on since both she and Jinny's dad have been on the force for years...Cap prolly already knew about Jinny's Mom.

I thought of two more things:

We didn't get to discuss Jinny's rape in this ep, kinda surprising, I thought they'd go into that.

I can't believe Jinny STILL lied to Magda about being in the bathroom and not at the bar. While she was being so honest with everything else, I thought for sure she'd come clean with that.

Last night episode was the best. I am so glad that they did not end the episode with Jinny in a bar. At least maybe there is hope for her. She was just looking out over the water, maybe next season she will try to get her drinking under control. I am not saying she is going to stop. I also found it interesting when she said "what makes you think i like to drink". She drinks her problems away.

I loved the episode as a whole.

I still cannot belive that Jinny told Cap to go to hell... that just gets me. I actually felt a little sorry for Cap when she did that... but Jinny was MAJORLY pissed off... and I know how that feels.

I'm pretty sure that the girls told Cap about the intervention... I kinda wished she could have stayed... but Jin made her leave.

Dear God I have never seen Jinny so f*ckin' mad! She was ylling at everybody!

You know when Mag was talking about Jinny's loyalty and how if she told something to her it wouldn't get repeated? Ah... well. When she was "giving everybody a turn" she told about Mag's "one night stand" with Peter...

I noticed that too about the last scene with Jinny. Me and Britt were talking about that last night. I was looking at her hair. She definitely didn't do that at the beginning of TD. Maybe close to the middle of the season or something and decided that they wanted to use it at the end.

I love the way CD said she admired Jinny because she didn't take crap from anyone... and she still doesn't. I kinda tought it was funny what Jinny said afterwards... something like, "Oh, come on, folks, don't be shy. Apparently everyone is welcome to crap all over me tonight, so just step right up!".

I'm talking WAY too much.

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are going to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon and Jay Harrington, and you're not. Ahahaha!

Jay Harrington is all mine! I don't care what you guys say, cuz he's mine! Not yours! AHAHAHAHAAAA!

Teddy: Hey, I'm making you an offer you can't refuse.

Jinny: Look, you know who I am, OK? You know who my family is. Why the hell do you even wanna be with me at all?
Teddy: Because, I love you.

Jinny: What was she expecting? The welcome wagon?

Jinny: Basically, people are who people are. Your born, you die pretty much the same person. All the rest is just window dressing.

Check out my Nancy McKeon Supersite!

The Cliffhanger- I don't want Magda to say yes. First of all he left when she said she was pregnant, then forces himself into her and bens life, finally gets to "date" her, asks to move in and then HE says no, so now he proposes. In my opinion WAY TOO SOON!

The Intervention- GREAT! Standing ovation. I was so happy when she said no.I never wanted her to go to rehab. When they talked about her mom, it was so sad(I didn't cry though, well I barely cry about tv shows)She pictured the Wicked witch of the ****(forgot the name)The smell was blood. Put her in a bag. SAD.the fact that she doesn't like drinking didn't really stun me.(I was shouting at the sceen then why do you do it?)
Captain- It was so mean, when Jinny made her leave, and the Cap. actually cared for her and said she was a good cop. I wanted Jinny to say "ok you can stay" but that is obvioulsly not Jinny's character.
The Car- I soooooooo want Jinny's car!!!! It looks different from the episode where Casey says he is Gay.
I have one Question about the 2nd season premire- Is it going to start where the cliffhanger left off, or after 3 months, or where Jinny is back at work and has been there awhile?

Ditto! And yes, I'm glad she wans't in a bar. That would've sort of ruined the effect. She looked like she was really thinking in that scene...maybe she's starting to realize the effect of her actions.
