Did anyone understand the time-travel that Desmond was doing? And did you notice the calendar had 2004 on it?

I thought this was a strange episode.

That was a fantastic episode. Best of the season probably. Yes, it is 2004 on the island. It's been over 3 months since they crashed. They crashed Sept. 22, 2004. You didn't think the show has elapsed 4 years on the actual show, did you?

^ I forgot how slowly times goes by on the island. (lol!) And with all the flashbacks & flashforwards & now the time travel, I'll certainly stay confused. I thought it was a good episode too but kind of strange since only Desmond's mind was doing the time-traveling.

What year/s was it when Desmond talked with Penny?. I had a yr of 1996 but it must of zipped forward when he called again. 8 years laters if the calendar on the wall is 2004. On the other hand what year is when Kates has her trial? Did Kate's mother mention time?

It was a fair episode but it was my least favorite of the season so far.

I didn't like the episode. I thought it was confusing and dull. First clunker of the season, in my opinion anyway. I do like the character of Desmond though.

I'm guessing that Kate's trial would be a few years ahead, maybe 2006 or 2007. But that's just a guess. I don't remember if Kate's mom mentioned the date or not.

I thought the episode was good, just confusing. I like Desmond too.

One of the best episodes in the history of the series. Season four is looking more and more like the best season yet. Let's just hope that the three month hiatus didn't kill the creative momentum in the writers room.
