What are some shows that have mentioned the Honeymooners?
I've seen them mentioned on Family Guy 4 times so far; Last night's episode had Jackie Gleason who caused Lois' brother to go crazy (funny epsiode) and "Pow right in the kisser" was used over and over, then there was the one where they did that quick clip of Ralph punching Alice, another Peter was discussing the episode where Ralph got a promotion etc etc. The King of Queens; I think everyone's probably seen that one... and I'm not sure if they've mentioned the show any other times? Everbody Loves Raymond; There was a quick mention. |

On The Howard Stern radio show, one of the cast members Artie Lange is a huge fan and is always bringing up Honeymooners references. Many times at the end of the show while Artie plugs his upcoming standup performances, they play The Jackie Gleason Show theme.
On an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show, "Stretch Petrie vs. Kid Schenk", Rob makes Norton hand gestures while trying to stall when he's being pressured into signing a document. He mentions Art Carney and does a bad Norton "Hey, Ralphie boy" impression. |

You listen to Howard Stern too? Great! So do I.
Back in the 60's, not sure if it was Looney Toons related or not, but there was a cartoon where the characters were mice and they were playing the Honeymooners cast: |

There were some Gleason references made on The Sopranos...in one episode they are watching "The $99,000 Answer," and in another, Reggie Van Gleason III is mentioned. Bruce Willis also did a Honeymooners parody on his show Moonlighting back in the 80's...there's a clip of it on YouTube, here's the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3SSEXNCsYgc

The Looney Toons cartoons had a few references made by characters relating to the Honeymooners when they said things such as "Pow! right in the kisser."
The rap group A TRIBE CALLED QUEST had a lyric in one of their songs that said this, ""What's Ralph Kramden, if he ain't yellin', at Ed Norton, what's coke snortin'?" Not a very nice thing, but a Honeymooners reference nonetheless. |

Characters can also be seen watching The Honeymooners in the movies Back To The Future, Blast From The Past, and Wedding Crashers. Eddie Murphy also made reference to both The Honeymooners and I Love Lucy in his stand-up, Delirious in the 80's.

In the final "Cheers" episode, Rebecca winds up marrying a plumber, who is applying for a sewer job. Rebecca says something like "I wanted a millionaire, and I'm getting Ed Norton !"
