Default This show seemed like a lame Cosby show ripoff!

After watching this show on TVone... I don't really get why I liked this show when I was younger. Most of the plots were stupid, the little actor that played Nicholas had a problem with his voice with the husky breathing & his lisp which I find very irritating. Not to mention Jerry and Robert seemed to be like a lame version of Claire and Cliff huxtable. I didn't really care for Michael but like TK.

I used to love watching the show back in the day. Zaria had some fine friends. I couldn't stand Zaria though, she seemed like a beeoch, in my opinion. I think TK should have been originally cast from the beginning. Wendell and Kelly were simply not needed and their lame attempts at comedy just didn't get any laughs. LOL about fat ass Nicholas! Small kids can work but when you have too many kids and characters on a show, then it gets busy. But we have to remember, this was one of WB's first shows so the standards were way low.

I did like how TK did add a little intensity to the show during his arrival. More could have been done with his storyline and his friends.

I agree! I enjoyed the show A LOT better when TK came into the scene, he made the show more interesting. Never warmed up to Michael, he was a very lame and boring character and he really didn't seem to fit in with the family like TK did.
