This chick is going out of town at around 10 this morning (it's two minutes to 7am here) and coming back Sunday. Finally, an interesting weekend that will be out of town.

Friday: Step Aerobics and then three hours of work this morning. Then, I am going to watch Enchanted at the dollar theatre. I really wanted to see Lars & the Real Girl, but yesterday was the last day at the theatre. Boo!

It being leap year day today, I was hoping to attend an event to celebrate this "rare" day, but financially, I can't afford it to just be spending the money. I gotta tuck away some money and save up!! So, I did promise a co-worker to work for her for a couple of hours in the evening so that she can watch her daughter's big high school basketball game. We're trading a couple of hours.

Saturday: Working out for about an hour in the morning, working a couple of hours at work, and then a friend and I are attending a scrapping event with a homemade dinner made for us! Yum-yum!

Sunday: Most-likely, working in the afternoon at the part-time job. Then, relaxing and cleaning house before and after work on that day.

Hey, everyone

I have a busy weekend planned...today I have to work 'til 6, then I am going to the school play with a friend. We're going to go out to dinner and make a night of it, so it should be fun

Saturday I have to work all day, but maybe I'll find something to do with a few friends after I get off work.

Sunday I am meeting my fellow layout editor for the college's literary magazine and discussing how we want this thing to look. I think we're going through our submissions and picking the ones we like the most.

After I get home from that, I'm most likely working on my Hamlet paper for Shakespeare class...fun fun!

i have pretty bizarre plans for next week that would weird people out, so i'm preparing for that. it partly involves burning a cd and printing out a 40+ page memoir about the pain i had a friend cause me last year.
my best friend is threatening to cut himself regularly if i don't start spending more time in my dorm with my roommates. he did it in class last night while i was sitting with him. it wasn't until just now when i typed it that i realized how controlling that is...i really don't know what to do about this.
i wrote a cheerful-sounding song with rather morbid lyrics a few months ago and i think this weekend would be a good time to record it.
i have a strange life, i suppose.

Not much going on this weekend.

Later this afternoon I'm meeting a friend to discuss some ideas for my website project, then I'll probably head back to my hood to meet up with my friends and have a few drinks.

Okay, many drinks. You all know me too well.

Tomorrow I have to put some finishing touches on the metal pieces I made this week, and I also have to tidy up the apartment a bit.

Seriously, the bathroom should be declared a biohazard.

Trying to figure out a way to transport my dad to a rehab center.
He went into the hospital three weeks ago for a simple 1-2 day hospital stay hernia repair surgery and ended up with a blockage and yet another abdominal surgery. He's fine and healthy again but naturally after three solid weeks of being in bed he has lost some strength and only started walking -small, short steps- two days ago. Today the hospital tells us he's ready to be transported to the rehab center TONIGHT...but... they won't transport him since it's not considered an "emergency." We either take him or they can transport him for $1,000 which insurance will not cover. The rehab center is not even 15 minutes away.
My mom and I are now 100% responsible for getting my dad to the rehab center. It's going to be interesting trying to get someone who has a huge abdominal incision... up and into the car. I hope they at least load him up on pain killers.

The upside to all this!; He'll only be there for a week (he recovers amazingly fast) and then he's coming HOME!

Well, I'm going over to the beaus house on Sunday to try and forget my problems for a while.

My dad's not here anymore so I'm basicly gonna be cleaning and cooking for everyone this weekend and just trying to keep my mom from crying again.
