Actress Anne Hathaway was desperate to land a role in the big-screen remake of Get Smart - because she pretended to be in the TV show as a youngster.

The Devil Wears Prada star's dream came true when she was cast as Agent 99 in the 2008 film adaptation of the 1970s series, after years of acting out the part during her childhood.

She says, "I was a huge fan of Get Smart when I was a kid. I used to stay up late to watch the reruns and then spend the next day pretending to be Agent 99."

That's a cute story... (even I did things like acting stuff out) but...

To me it'd have to be *exactly* like "our" 99, and I don't see that happening.
