What was with the blow-dried hair and the stone-washed jeans? I thought the show was supposed to be set in the 50s/60s? After the first couple of classic seasons, most of the characters just looked like they would in the 1980s.

I think they just got lazy, and they were trying to minimize the emphasis on the 50's as the show got older.
