When AITF debuted, what show did it replace on the schedule? Bart Andrews, in one of his books, claimed that it replaced "The Governor And J.J.", however, when looking at the CBS fall 1970 Tuesday lineup, "To Rome With Love" occupied the 9:30-10 PM [Eastern] time period.

It was To Rome With Love. I remember we used to watch that show.

Also The Governor & JJ ended its run in December 1970 before AITF even premiered.

It was a sitcom about a widower and his 3 teenage daughters, who went to Rome once for vacation and liked it so much they decided to move there, where the father too ka job as a schoolteacher. It was produced by Don Fedderson, who was also responsible for "FAMILY AFFAIR" and "MY 3 SONS". All 3 shows were on the CBS schedule at the same time, and some of the cast of "MY 3 SONS" appeared in an episode, as did some cast members of "FAMILY AFFAIR".
